WOW ???? My daughter and I came in for lunch. We weren't sure what we wanted, so we tried both sushi and Chinese food.
First, the egg drop soup was delicious. The egg rolls - PHENOMENAL! They're homemade, and the perfect combination of crunch and delicious filling. A combination of mustard sauce + sweet and sour sauce was a hit for my palate.
Second, the sushi is delicious. With so many choices it was hard to decide. We went with Caterpillar roll and it was very tasty and satisfying ????
Last we shared the Kum Bow lunch special. I think it's #14. Another yummy dish.
Service was great, both my waiter and the proprietor were attentive and caring to our needs. Very good customer service! ⭐️

Fish was fresh. Slices on sushi was very thin to the point you could see through it. The roll I ordered was delicious. There was only 1 person in the front, sitting, serving, and cleaning tables. As a result it took twice as long to get our drinks, order food and get our food. They never returned to refill our drinks. The temperature in the restaurant was very cold. I wish I had taken a photo of the thermostat. All in all, I rate this restaurant at 3.5. I'll give them a second chance at some point but will probably go to one of the other local sushi places in town. The menu on Google is put dated so I took more photos of the menu. They also have another side where they cook in front of you and seemed really nice. Planning on trying that in the future as well.
Prices are comparable and the food was flavorful. Kids got a kick out of the sushi names. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. When leaving, we drove around the building, and the kitchen door was open. The kitchen was busy/filled but very clean looking. Inside decorations were beautiful.
My wife and I have never been here before and we will not be back. The waiter was nice, but never refilled our drinks, just took our order and brought out the food.
My wife ordered sushi and she said it didn't look or taste fresh.
We ordered the combination appetizer which the waiter said was $2 more than advertised. The stuff we got was not listed as part of the appetizer and was suspicious looking.
I ordered sweet and sour chicken and it was frozen nuggets swimming in some sort of sauce.
The food made my wife sick and left me questioning my food choices.
Keep driving folks.
Paid extra for sauce in a large to-go order of sushi (which seemed a little chintzy anyway) only to get home and have no sauce at all. Egg rolls were also burnt and grease soaked. Didn't care for this place years ago, but thought we'd give it another try. Still the worst Chinese in town.
The sushi is phenomenal. Weekly visits have become one of the finest things to look forward to. On the first day I knew it was gonna become an addiction ????
Our server has been fantastic, and she remembers us. The sushi menu was surprisingly large in my opinion, and overwhelmed me a little at first. Only reading about half of the first page before eagerly making my decision. Everything seems to be uniquely catered in a specific direction, so you shouldn't find much similarity between items.
Really sad because I’ve been a repeat customer for years. I’ve always ordered for dinner but decided to do lunch. I was expecting it to be really fresh being that the day just started. My food was absolutely 100% leftovers. Cold and microwaved. Tasted old. Was cold in middle but popping hot on outside for my egg rolls. It was absolutely horrible.
This actually made me completely stop ordering altogether.
I wish I could give this place more stars . The restaurant was super clean . The staff was definitely a 10 . The food was excellent , we moved to the area last year from California and haven't found any good sushi places until now. We live over an hour away but we will definitely be returning very often. Thanks to the amazing staff for all the wonderful service and the chef definitely knows what he is doing
