I had the pleasure of having both general tso and orange chicken. Both were really good. Sauce was nice and sticky, chicken soft and crunchy. I also had vegetable fried rice which was made well.
Ordered 6 rolls to-go during dinner time. The atmosphere inside of Bamboo is fairly boring if I’m being honest and overall seemed like it could be livened up to attract more dining guests.
The sushi rolls, however, did not disappoint. I ordered 2 regular maki rolls (salmon, yellowtail) and a peppered tuna roll. Also got a spicy dinner combo which consists of spicy tuna, spicy salmon w/avocado and spicy California. Regular maki rolls were very fresh and enjoyable with a good ratio of rice to fish. The spicy tuna roll was great. I would preferred to have gotten the other 2 spicy rolls without avocado, but that was my fault. They were still good but being as the spicy tuna was so good I would have preferred just spicy in the rolls. I didn’t care for the sauce on the peppered tuna roll so that was a miss in my book.
These rolls were noticeably larger than others I have gotten in the area. Not overly filled with rice just more total filling so they were a good value in my opinion. One of my favorite locations thus far.
My favorite Asian restaurant by far the best in the Lehigh Valley. Whether you dining in or take out, the food is fresh and robust with favor. The service is excellent and personable. For most part because of my busy schedule I either order online or call in my order and she knows exactly who I am and always ask me how my day or notice I order something different. Always greets me with a warm smile. I have referred my coworkers and friends there and they love the food as well as the service. My favorites are #32Grilled shrimp salad with glazed walnuts (best diet food for me because of the double protein and fiber) #J43 Tempura Shrimp and avocado roll. #S21Salt and pepper shrimp and #104 Thai pawn fried rice with chili paste
My tuna avocado roll was huge and delicious and my seaweed salad also delicious. No complaints. Also waitress helped me pour tea because the pot was too heavy for me to lift. I have carpal tunnel so i needed assistance. Very good place. This was the best tuna avocado roll I've ever had!! So fresh!
Very good food with an extensive menu to please all. Called in a take out order and food was prepared well and exactly as ordered and delicious. Tried their boneless spareribs, yellow tail roll, and a caterpillar roll and yellowtail jalapeno. Everything was made fresh with quality ingredients and delicious. They have a lovely cozy dining room with tables and booths in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with a kind and helpful staff. Prices are on the moderate to high side, as with most Asian restaurants, but well worth it. Good location with ample parking. This is BYO

This restaurant is situated near Weis Market and Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters and main course that will appeal to youngsters and adult alike. We had both Japanese and Chinese food. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious, especially the shrimp and scallop teriyaki. Moreover, the service we received was so amazing. The waiters always cares about our experience and are happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for Asian cuisine restaurant to eat in Allentown.
Ordered the bourbon chicken- all I can say is never again. The pieces were dry and tasteless and it did not look like chicken.
Family of six visited on Nov 25th and it was like a Thanksgiving Dinner (minus the Turkey), excellent hospitality, delicious, authentic and high quality food, We ordered at least 10 different items from the menu and every single dish was awesome. The place was very cozy and pleasant. Strongly recommend, and love to visit many times again. Thanks for being there.
