My first time here, and I came due to a cat rescue that had set up with this restaurant to get a 20% kickback on orders for the day. I rate that high for any establishment who makes an effort to help out.
When I arrived it was about 30 minutes after they had opened, so it was not busy for a Monday morning at 10:30 am. I stood at the front waiting to be seated for awhile. Not sure where everyone was, but was able to read the entire menu and still was waiting. Finally someone realized I was standing there.
Was seated and put my order right in.
Food came fast and hot. Servings were a nice amount. My scramble had a choice of English muffin, toast, buttermilk pancakes, and I think something else? I picked the English muffin.
Waitress was very friendly and checked on me a couple of times. Paid for my breakfast at my table, which is always a plus.
Restaurant was sort of clean, I was surprised to see small bits of paper and food on the carpet, like someone never got around to vacuuming?
I never checked out the bathroom for cleanliness.
I hear they have good pies, but was to full to try any or take home this trip.
I will probably come back at some point in the future because the food was good and so was my waitress, but the place didn't make it for my normal 5 stars across the board. To bad, it definitely has the ability to do so. Maybe an off day?
This has been a favorite place for lunch and dinner since I was a kid and it was called Pop'n Fresh Pies! It's just a shame there are so few of these left. Food is reliably good, and the pies are always fresh and delicious.

Wow, it's hard to believe such an Icon in pies is down to just 3 locations left. Anyone that has ever had one of their pies knows how great they are, however me and a couple of friends had lunch there as well and it was very very good. I spoke to the manager and he told me that the main cook has been there for 30 frigen years. Keep up the awesome food, pies and service. Thank you for the outstanding experience.
One of the few that is still standing by the suburb area. I remember this place everywhere, and one by one, they're permanently gone. I came here to pick up some pies, and this place is not busy at all. It looks dead if I'm being honest. Anyway, pie prices have gone up a bit (but like everyone else nowadays), each around $20 or so. I haven't been in this place for a long time, and I just found out they have stopped selling seasonal pies and only have the basic/regular kind available. I hope they stay in business as their pies are good, especially during the holidays.
Oh Baker's Square you big beautiful building filled with luxurious pies. I wish you would make a comeback so I can enjoy more locations again. Keep making those delicious foods and don't ever change the honey mustard recipe.

Tasty food, great service, and very good prices! I recommend their juicy burgers, and my wife enjoyed their pot roast. Finish off the meal with a tasty piece of pie! Server was very attentive and took great care of us.
I would like to know what ever happened to customer service? I called this location today to order lunch to go. I was immediately asked whether I was placing a food order or a pie order and I explained that I would like to order both. I had planned on ordering my lunch and a slice of pie for dessert. However, I was informed that they do not allow pie orders over the phone and that I would have to wait until I get there to pick up my order to place my order for a piece of pie. Are you kidding me??? Since when can you not place an order to go including dessert??? I have never heard of such a thing! I told her that it was a ridiculous policy and that I would order my lunch elsewhere. As much as I love the veggie stirfry pita at Bakers Square and their pie, I can honestly say that I will never call this location again to place an order to go after this. I’ve never heard of such a thing, you can’t order a piece of pie with your to go order? Seriously the worst restaurant policy I’ve ever heard. Especially at Bakers Square, who specializes in PIE!!!
