Best WLM Reviews
Great little establishment with great ambiance. The employees were welcoming and respectful. It felt like you were back in the Caribbean and at the restaurant ordering food.
I visit this restaurant to get food every time I'm in the neighborhood.
I would highly recommend it to friends and family.
Im going to give two stars cause the serivice was good but the food was nasty ...doubles tastless buss up shot doughy ...i normally go to the one in flatbush junction which food and service is allot better
The Caribbean flavors for a fraction of the price. I’ve been to this location three times so far, and I’m pretty satisfied with the food offered. I’m vegetarian and they have plenty of options for me to choose from. Most recently I got Rice & Peas (great flavor!) and Dhal. Would recommend if you’re in need of a flavorful and inexpensive breakfast/lunch.
I usually frequent this establishment at least twice a month. The food on occasions tastes like home cooked food.
The staff are friendly and I noticed they keep the place clean, which keeps me coming back .
Bake and Things please keep up your standards.
The food here has drastically changed...not sure if the cook has changed, but it doesn't have a nice taste like before. It's ok.... I'd rather spend a little more and go to Bamboo Walk on Utica Ave.
Whatever you do, don't ever get a roti here! It's embarrassing to have any trini claim this as theirs. The other stuff I've had here is solid. But their roti skin was "solid", & not in a good way. Solid as a rock, solid gold..solid as in cement, hard-headed solid. The disappointment after spending $$ for this, is real y'all! What a mdc waste. NYC has so many options, landing on a buss feels like a real wasted opportunity. Again, don't ever get a roti here.
This was "go to" my spot when I came home to visit, but my last two orders were VERY disappointing. Although the customer service is always unwelcoming, that was probably the only thing that did NOT change. The quantity and quality has definitely gone down. I ordered my usual, chicken roti and doubles, BOTH left much to be desired. The chicken roti had more potato than chicken (hardly no chicken) and the doubles were not appetizing. I thought it was just me, but I ordered two of both items and my brother shared my same opinion. It seems like a lot of establishments are trying to get more money for less food and substandard quality and employees are just unhappy and it shows. I hope they improve for their own sake, I really liked them. I wish them all the best.
Come here a couple times and even though the service is always terrible and the staff is rude, today took the cake. Ordered a large dinner with 2 sides and the woman behind the counter forgot to include one of the sides I wanted. I asked for it and she began making excuses saying she gave me more meat to make up for it anyway. That wasn’t what I asked for so again I asked for the missing side. She puts it in a small plastic container and when I went to pay, the guy taking payment tried to charge me extra for it. I’m explaining the situation but all I’m met with is childish attitude and like I’m giving them a hard time. I tell them I can just walk out and the guy just shrugs without saying anything so that’s exactly what I did. These people have major problems.
