Its not your ordinary taco. This place has character and style. The chips are thin and crispy. The dining room is open and spacious. Good food, good service. Take some extra time and look at all of the wall art. Its worth a visit I bet you will like it. Still good in 2023!
Big, airy, clean, and a notch fancier than most Mexican restaurants. There are only 3 dishes listed under the vegetarian section options on the menu. The veggie fajitas were unusually well prepared with the vegetables softened but still its characteristic texture and the mixture offered a wide range of vegetables: Carrot, broccoli, bell pepper, cauliflower, button mushroom, spinach, zucchini, squash, and onions that I liked.
I asked for hot sauce and received a small bowl with a medium spicy, citrus forward sauce. When I finally tasted a teaspoon full, I was surprised by small pieces of tomatillios. Nice!
The place seats approximately 200 guests and on a Monday at 11:50 AM, I was the only guest, which left confused since the food, service, and atmosphere were a good bit above average,
This place has great food. The salsa is superior and the chips were fresh and hot. My Bahama mama was perfect! The street tacos and seafood quesadilla were also delicious. Our server was very kind. The only complaint was I had to grab our own napkins and silverware but it happens.

Wonderful experience! It is very clean, and lots of tasty, fresh food. The service was fast, and our server was very polite and professional. We liked the decor: stone finishes and pretty paintings. My young son really liked the wall-sized whale painting. We have found our new go-to place!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This place reminds me SO much of the food and dishes served in TJ and San Diego. The waitress and her mother knew exactly what we were looking for when it came to the dishes we ordered. Just perfect choices in dishes, drink and atmosphere. So dang good we had to go back the next day!
Great service and food atmosphere was awesome upbeat music ???? and place is large enough to properly social distance. I read a review that the beans are delicious I thought that was a weird review to pick out the beans of all the other items.. but the beans were actually quite tasty???? the entire meal was great and the staff was very attentive. I will be back.
Excellent salsa and their spicy brown salsa was hot but flavorful. Chips thin, warm and crispy. Homemade pollo and rice soup was refreshing with avocado & a fresh lime squeeze. Grilled shrimp chipotle soft tacos with a cabbage and Pico de Gallo salad and avocado slices were delicious. Construction is ongoing to the exterior building facade and makes it appear questionable if the restaurant is open, but it definitely is! Stop by. You won’t be disappointed! We will be back soon!
Not a good experience.
Queso took 15min to come out, and it wasn’t much more than something store bought.
For kids, do not get the pizza; one small slice with a couple fries for $5.90 and ketchup was $1.25!
Fajitas were bland and only seasoned with Lowry’s.
Positives were their chips are good, and the Baja bowl.
There are much better Mexican options elsewhere.
