Best WLM Reviews

If you want authentic African goodies check this place out, you won't miss home when you do the owner is so welcoming and her customer service is top-notch.
Stay away. Owner rudely wanted me to pay for a cheap zipper replacement in a dress that I paid @ $70. I just purchased this dress and tried it on once at home. When I bought the dress Nene was all smiles... I told her I cannot pay for a zipper replacement in a dress that she messed up. I will go elsewhere and get this dress altered. I’m not paying one red cent to her for the mistake she made. She should be ashamed to conduct her business in this way. Save yourself the trouble and go to the African braiding / clothing store in Parkland!
Clean environment, very receptive and good customer service. The store keeper told me if I don't find what i want in the store I can tell her what it is and she'll order it for me.
Extremely overpriced, unsanitary, and disorganized. Pay attention to price tag, if not they overcharge on items. For tea bags and Royco we were charged $32.00.Per the price labels, the cashier took advantage and charged double, when we requested the receipt she tore ours up and handed us the credit card transaction. I wouldn't recommend purchasing from the freezer section, food items are improperly packaged and stored. It doesn't even deserve the one star rating.
When I say she’s the most rude person I’ve ever met, I’m not kidding. I’ve been in the States since I was 6 so I don’t have an accent, however I do speak my language. The owner stayed on her phone the whole time. She thought I was American and I wouldn’t understand her talking bad about me but I understood her. I called ahead of time asking for Kitenge but when I got there she helped every other customer or just stayed on the phone. She then continuously kept calling me Akata under breath. She seemed too occupied to find the dress I was looking for so I said that she could call me when she found it and I left her my number. SHE NEVER CALLED.
I got some good flour for ugali but then again I can get that anywhere.
Edit: it’s very insulting to tell me that something I know happened to me, didn’t happen. I really wanted to give this place another chance with a different employee but after being told I’m making this all up then I would say stay far away! They have expired food and overpriced clothes anyways.
Great shop and the shopkeeper was great too! My daughter just spent 3 months studying abroad in Tanzania and when we walked in the store she said that it smells just like Africa in there.
Nene is amazing with braiding. My hair is extremely short and she was still able to braid it. Everyone was telling me to go to her. Glad I did. She is amazing and has great customer service. And you get to watch TV. Definitely worth the price. Excellent African products and clothing as well.
Owner is so sweet and helpful, recommend good products for aching muscles! Nice Naija products as well.
