This is a completely respectable bahn mi in an unsaturated market of bahn mis in Boise. I unfortunately showed up with an American Express card which was not accepted by the store but they were willing to give me a small discount since I didn't have another card.
I got an egg bahn mi and a grilled beef bahn mi. I will agree with other reviewers which state they skimp on beef. You will not get full on beef alone and will likely be a little bit annoyed. The egg bahn mi was respectfully filled and delicious.
They are kind and make good food.
Pho, baguette sandwiches, boba and much more. My go to spot when I need a boba. Staff is super friendly, and they are super fast. Everything is so yummy.
I’ve came here many times over the last 2 yrs. Sandwiches used to be 7 and some change but they’ve just gone up to $10 each. Which is not reasonable to me, also they are always veryyy shy with their meat. Also, if you order a drink make sure you ask for light ice because the cup is most definitely going to be at least halfway full of ice. Though I’m pretty sure I was charged an extra fee when I requested that; I’ve just started making my own boba teas at home.
I want to like this place so bad but both times I’ve been disappointed. This time I ordered a grilled beef with extra meat. I would have been disappointed by the amount of beef even if I hadn’t paid for extra (there was barely enough beef to have some in every bite, and it is very thin). The sandwich also was extremely dry because it didn’t have mayo as advertised. When I went, I was the only one in there, so I don’t think the poor service was due to them being busy.
I will say, the little beef I had was delicious. I hope that both times I went I was just unlucky and this place really is as good as the other reviews say, if you catch them on a good day.
My favorite place to get sandwiches! The rotisserie chicken sandwich is very delicious if you prefer something without the Vietnamese style steamed pork sausage (cha lua). They also have some regular deli options but I haven't tried those. My regular go to sandwiches are the house special, meat ball and the rotisserie chicken.
Great food and boba, not sure if they have an option for sweetness levels but will ask the next time.
Staff was rude didn't want to answer any questions. Sandwich was really poor. Old ingredients and tasted horrible will not be returning
The #3 bbq pork is iconic and will slay your taste buds every single time. We also enjoy the #4 rotisserie chicken. The crispy egg rolls are my favorite egg rolls in all of Boise, I have to get at least 2-3 every time I stop in here. The prices have gone up but it's still a very affordable lunch spot. Support local businesses so we can keep gems like this place around!
