Uniquely flavored BBQ served with a local vibe by one of the best waitresses I've ever seen work. I've never seen so many customers taken care of by one individual. The favorites here are the Hash Brown Casserole which was absolutely tasty, a great blend of cheesey and crispy and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, with sauces that are flavorful and spicy but not overbearing. Even the coleslaw is an original recipe and a cut above most.
We stopped in on our trip to Paducah from St. Louis, MO and I’m so glad we did! The service was amazing. Alyssa is so sweet. She offered my daughter, Lorelei, a sucker and was just an absolute charm all around! The food was just as good! We will be back next time we’re in town.
Wow, the best bbq chicken I've ever had. The pulled pork was also moist and delicious. The potato salad was a bit spicy and I wish they had more sides to choose from. The decor was great, a real entertaining theme. The ladies room was clean and modern. Unfortunately, the construction made it very difficult to get to.
Best smoked turkey we ever had. Was flavorful and juicy. Excellent. Bbq chicken is also always tasty here. The baked beans and potatoe salad and deserts really good.. The bbq sandwich is good. All of it is good.
Four years ago my take on this place was not so flattering. Today I must say as back then the food is great. The pulled pork was moist and quite delicious along with the sauce! The key is get it to go! The dining room just isn't very comfortable seating.
The absolute worst pulled pork I have ever had in my entire life. And I’m 50. Would not recommend.
Extra charges for pickle/onion and a bun on a pulled pork plate.

Drinks alone were 3.29- wanted one to go but figured they’d charge me for it.
I’d eat gas station food before I ate Backwoods BBQ again. Don’t eat here unless you want to waste money and be disappointed!
On our way to a shooting competition,so we decided to stop. First the menu was really bad pork then more pork so ordered rack of ribs bark side of the rib was discolored breaking the rib apart seem to have some yellow membrane in it couldn’t eat hash brown casserole was tasteless and the potatoe salad had very little flavor I’m from a very famous barbeque city Saint Louis. Stike one two and three on this stop. Wasted forty five dollars. Not good at all.
The food was amazing service was fast and inviting well worth the visit most definitely going back again
