If you're looking for very lightly smoked, moist and tender barbeque this place might be right for you.
We tried the ribs and pulled pork complimented by beans, mac & cheese and cole slaw. Meat was good, sides were okay. Was surprised they only had two sauce options with tiny servings provided in pre filled little containers. Don't be surprised if you have to ask for more.
Comfortable seating in a strip mall just off highway 61 in Winona.
I had some friends bring me some of their food. I really loved the Rack of Ribs, and I especially liked the flavor of the bark on them. I also was able to have some of the Brisket, which was also very good, even my wife liked it. In addition to the meat, I had their Bacon Mac n Cheese and beans. Both of those sides were fantastic. Pretty good sauces too. I highly recommend stopping in. I know I will stop the next time I am in Winona.
Texas Twinkie is a 5/5. Service was great. The brisket was good, the sausage did t really have any flavor.
The Texas Twinkie is as awesome as I imagined. Finally was able to get one before they were sold out. Also got the Brisket lunch for later.
Lance, Nate, and all the crew are fantastic.
I thought food was great, maybe lacking in their sauces a little but for meat, brisket reigned supreme, sausage lacked and wasn’t anything to remember.. their sides I give a solid 8.. overall, I’ll be back again.. even sooner than later
Service and food were excellent! They help you with any questions you might have about the menu. Pulled, pork, and the brisket are my favorites with the kicked up beans.
Staff is very friendly and very educated on the menu as well as what to recommend for your first time eating at the restaurant. Overall a very good experience and wonderful food.
Price was 70 dollars on their website. Went there to eat and they told me it's now 80 dollars and nothing they could do about it. They should have honored their online price and update their menu online. False advertisement. Chicken was hot. Sausage and pork was barely warm but did have good flavor.
