The atmosphere was pleasant and we sat away from the bar since we had kids with us. The service was great and the service gave us just enough attention. The food was yummy and came out in a timely fashion. The booth was strange because the table wasn't big enough for the booth, but overall it was a great experience.
Killer spot for a good tap list... Awesome variety both local and uncommon non-local beers. Pizza was solid, laid back easy going place, something I wish I had next to my house. Cheers!
Party of 4. We started with jalapeño poppers and spinach and Artichoke dip. XL pizza and a Greek salad. Hardly enough room at the table for the food and water glasses. If you go don't choose a booth! My water was hidden from view of the server and 3 of us never had our water refilled. Food was good but like I said for a party of 4 DO NOT CHOOSE A BOOTH.
Loved this place on my visit to boulder! Good beer selection, really good food, what else can you ask for from a local watering hole? Honestly, great vibe of bartenders, locals and tourists. Pizza is really really good, takes a while, so sit and have a beer (or two) while you wait. Would love to go back someday.
I go almost once per week to pick up a pizza. My kids always want to go with too. They have a great arcade room with two pool tables, jukebox, pinball machines. We always place a to-go order and play a few arcade games while we wait for the order. They have a great bar area too with great beer options. Great people and great service.
We visited Backcountry Pizza & Tap House last night, and it was overall pretty good. There was no wait when we came in, so we got settled pretty quickly. Our server was super friendly and swift to take our orders. While it took a while for the food to get to our table, the pizza and wings turned out great. Only the waffle fries with cheese were fairly mediocre (no crisp, a little lifeless, bland). Regardless, the pizza is highly recommended! We had a decent time.
Did a google search for the best restaurants in Boulder and this place came up. My son and I liked our menu options to we ordered takeout. His medium pizza lasted him 3 days and my veggie wrap was delicious. My only minor complaint is that they didn’t provide utensils or napkins. We were at a motel so we managed but those items would have been nice (my wrap came with coleslaw thus the need for a fork). Prices were reasonable and the order was ready when I arrived. Staff was friendly and the inside of the restaurant that I saw seemed like a typical local bar/restaurant.
Can't beat the tap list and the pizzas are delicious too!
