Best WLM Reviews
Baby's was very cool. Food was good. Enjoyed the burger very much. Either the onion rings or burger made us very parched afterwards. Not a big deal, just odd. Cool spot though. Boozy milkshakes holla.
This place was good. Excellent burgers with interesting and unique toppings. My mushroom Swiss burger was loaded with mushrooms and onions- something most other restaurants skimp on. When we came here, there was a birthday party for a kid, which was really cute. The price point of this place is a little high, but worth it if you want a quality burger.
The menu is clear cut. I order the fried buffalo chicken and large order of onion rings. Onion were nice and crisp not soggy, so good. The onion rings come with a delicious tangy sauce. The atmosphere was fun and colorful, and they have a charming outdoor seating area as well. The service was A1 and the place is kid friendly. My son had a double cheese burger that was cooked well and very juicy. I sampled the mac n cheese g the cheese sauce was creamy A+. The neighborhood was modern and eclectic great vibes all around. I will def revisit and grab a drink next time.
Stopped by here this afternoon around noon on 3/22, to try something new. This restaurant is very nice and seems very clean. It has inside tables and some split booths for seating and outdoor seating with play area for the kids, sit anywhere you like. Scan at table for menu, or they have regular hold in your hands menus for the asking. They don’t wait on tables here, when you decide on your meal approach the counter and order your food. They will give you a number to put on the table and then bring your food to you when ready. We got cheese curds for an appetizer, Wife liked it me not so much. We both ordered the “Baby’s Strut Burgers” she had fries, I chose onion rings. Fries were ok, the onion rings were frozen out of a bag and not very good. I love onion rings but ate only one and that was a chore. We both got shakes, she got chocolate and I got a strawberry. The shakes were very small but good not fantastic. Overall burgers were good, sides were ok, shakes were small and the onion rings abysmal. I’d eat here again if nearby and hungry but not worth a special trip. And at 61 dollars “overpriced”
Very nice atmosphere, the server was very attentive and polite, and the food was surprisingly great. If you like blue cheese i highly recommend the load fries with the blue cheese and the boozed milkshake was also good!
A terrible waste of money! I spent $26 for a burger, fries, and milkshake. The milkshake was the only good part. The burger was burned and totally dry and no flavor. I can’t believe they would serve it like that! The fries were nothing special, just plain thin fries like frozen Ore-Ida. I normally would have sent the food back to the kitchen but no one checked on us. Multiple staff members kept blaming the “new guy” for doing things wrong. Perhaps they should train their new staff better!? Also when we arrived no one would acknowledge us, we didn’t know where to go, how to order etc and we had to mill around a while until staff finally said something.
The woman who brought our food was super rude to my friend; she had ordered a kids meal and beer (since she wasn’t very hungry) and the staff member berated her telling her she shouldn’t have done that, and the new guy shouldn’t have let her order that. As if we would ever come back there again! When a different staff member took away my plate (still full of the dry and completely crumbled gluten free bun and half my charred burger and most of the fries) he asked me how everything was. I shrugged and frowned and started to say it wasn’t very good but he evidently didn’t want to listen because he walked away!
I saw many positive reviews about this place being good for gluten free options. They say that it’s designated on the menu. However, according to the menu, there are only 3 gluten free options: fries, milkshakes, and a bun. So I had to ask about all the toppings etc and the staff were totally uneducated. So I just had a plain burger which was horrible. Such a waste of money to eat gross food and be treated poorly by staff. Also one of the restrooms had no soap. They had an empty dispenser on the wall, and a pump container on the sink which was full of super watered down soap, and the pump didn’t even work. I tried to find a staff person to alert them, but they aren’t interested in service; no one would look at me or acknowledge me so we finally left. It was a very unpleasant experience all around!
Food was good, just a tad pricy for no sides, but I can get over that if the food is exceptional and service is good.
Unfortunately the service was miserable (not sure if she was having a bad day but the restaurant was slow). The server’s attitude did not match the bubbly decor. Spoke to the owner after the meal and she was very nice and receptive.
PS, don’t order the Pork Sandwich because even though it’s on the menu and online the server said “we don’t serve that anymore”.
On another note, kids portions were good.
This place was AMAZING! Glad we got to stop while in town. My 3 year old would love the play area!! Such a chic place! The banana pop art was so cute! We were greeted as soon as we came in the door by a LOVELY personality who let us know how the restaurant works as we were sitting down. 10/5 stars!!
