Best WLM Reviews
Nice little restaurant with decent food. Some of the staff (typically at the register for to go orders) are rude or have an attitude and it just isn’t necessary. Placed a to go order the other day with small instructions to have my hamburger bun not toasted. When I got home I noticed the bun was toasted and even a bit burnt... I could have checked my order before leaving, but realistically I shouldn’t have to. I honestly enjoy the restaurant and the food which is why I am sharing this feedback.
Nice little place in town to grab a bite to eat. I’m not a huge barbecue fan, so I tend to eat their burgers or chicken tender salad. Banana pudding is incredible. Prices are great too.
in town looking for work and needed lunch… googled restaurants and decided yo give this place a shot… upon entry i was greeted pleasantly and offered a seat “anywhere”. my waitress was a pretty young lady name felecia… she asked me what i’d have and as usual i asked what they are known for… she said everything was good, but her and another young waitress said for me to try the brisket(sandwich)… obviously i eat and review a lot of bbq, so im always skeptical of brisket in GA, as its usually no wiggle in the jiggle… while i can’t say this was texas quality, its definitely one of the better brisket cuts ive had is GA… now as usual i asked if the mac’n’cheese was baked, she assured me it was… and it was… but it did underperform… while piping hot, noodles were a little over, and cheese just didn’t cheesey like i like… fortunately i was offered a side of seasoned fries which made up for the lack’o’mac… the house bbq was tasty and not a doctored up store brought… so was i pleased and it was very good on my fries… the mustard sauce was a ga blend, it has flavor, just not my cup of tea… overall this was an awesome meal experience and i’d eat here again and recommend you do so to.
I ate here a few weeks ago with family, and the food and service were outstanding. They are open on Weds. To Saturday, so plan your day to eat here. The meat is smoked to perfection. I ate the sampler platter of chopped pork, a half of a chicken, 2 ribs, and 2 sides (like $18.99), and it was so tender it fell off the bone. I had plenty leftover for lunch the next day. Best BBQ I have ever had, and I love BBQ. I am definitely making a point to eat there whenever I am in Georgia (FL girl here).
Hands down...some of the best ribs I've tasted...juicy..tender and full of favor. All the meat I purchased was tender and juicy and all the food was FRESH. The service was excellent and the wait time was very short....It really was a great experience and I forgot to tell you the reason for my visit was the homemade caramel covered pound cake....soooo good
Great place to be…. The staff is super-friendly, caring, great servers, and take their jobs seriously, as in serving the community. In addition, when you enter the restaurant, theirs a sense of family and friendship. What makes a community? Visit Baby CJ’s, it’s the place 2 eat!
I dined in as I had some time on my way to work and was warmly greeted by staff. The menu has a lot to offer and is very straightforward. Staff is knowledgeable and offered suggestions of some of their best dishes. I went with the Panther basket (local schools mascot is a Panther). You get your choice of meat on a bed of crinkle cut fries and then your choice of toppings of jalapeños and grilled onions as well as bacon, ranch, cheese and bbq sauce. I opted for brisket and pulled pork, cheese and the house made bbq sauce. The portion is huge, I ate about half and had to get a to go box for the rest. The service was fast and friendly and I waited about 10 minutes for my food order to be prepared. I ordered the sweet tea (being a southerner that in itself is it’s own food group lol) and it was great. The food was hot and fresh, the meat was plentiful and delicious and the house made sauce was honestly perfection. It was moderately busy as it was after lunch. I normally get a to go plate for my father and today I decided to eat in and try this place for myself. I look forward to coming here again. If you’re looking for a great bbq restaurant that is not only welcoming with a friendly staff and friendly atmosphere but also serves amazing food, you’ll find it here at Baby CJ’s.
Excellent service. Fast and friendly.
