First time here, and I will definitely go back. It was a Monday and early in the day, so it was not very busy, but we had great service. There was a huge bar area and lots of TVs for watching sports. It also had a back room with arcade games for kids. My husband had the Steak Burger with Fries, which he said was done perfectly and tasted great. The fries were OK, but nothing special. I had the Mac & Cheese with Pulled Pork topped with 3 onion rings. It was A LOT! There were a ton of noodles in a very soupy cheese sauce, a regular sized portion of pulled pork, some shredded cheese sprinkled on top, garnished with 3 onion rings. The pork was very tender and juicy, the onion rings were warm, but not hot, and the Mac and cheese I would have liked to be a heavier cheese flavor and not as "soupy" but it was still very good and I got 2 good sized meals out of the noodles. I really wanted to try the specialty shakes, but I was too full, so we plan to go back to try those. It is a bit on the pricey side though, so just be aware of that.
The service was great. The fish tacos were just ok - the toppings were good but the fish lacked seasoning. The Chili Tatchos were smothered well with chili and cheese and sour cream. The shrimp salad had good flavor. Glazed BBQ chicken was cooked well and came with a giant bowl of BBQ sauce. We didn’t get the shakes but they looked good ha!
I would not recommend coming here for pricing. $137, not including tip, for 4 burgers, 2 shakes, and 2 adult drinks is way too much. For the price, you get a burnt bun, a decent shake but small for the price, a loud but open dinning experience and a server that has 13 other jobs so they can't focus on the table service. All in all, this was ok, but not the best we've been to on this trip. Would recommend the country fried chicken sandwich though. Burgers were juicy and had good flavor. We might do this one with just the adults, or just coming for the shakes.
Food tasted great! Fast delivery however not great service over the phone. Asked about gluten free buns and she started listing the name of burgers they have not understanding. Not everyone knows what gluten free is so I didn't mind. However I asked if the tacos could be served with corn tortillas instead of flour and she says "we only do pork or chicken." I re explained what I meant and double checked that she has corn written down. I got delivered flour tortillas. Not great for people with celiac and gluten sensitivity like me because this could get people pretty sick. But everything else is great.
The burgers here used to be good. Now it is 2 small over cooked patties- wings came out cold, but were tasty. If I were to go back it would be only for the shakes.
Great experience! Our waiter was super friendly and the food was fantastic! I’d definitely grab a shake, but next time I will probably split it.
I placed an order to go. I'm not in town often, but I do love their food. I ordered a Cheeseburger and it was fabulous. I also ordered one of their hard shakes just without the alcohol since it was to go. It's the one that is most like a smore's and it is to die for! The fries were amazing. The service was also fabulous. It was very early into their day but the food came out really pretty quickly!
Eating here now and our appetizers and meals were great! All three of us enjoyed our food, salmon, chicken mac & cheese, and the black bean burger! All were great. The cheese curds were fantastic, and the onion rings were cooked perfectly and were delicious. When we arrived they we quite busy and the hostess quoted us a 25 minute wait time, but we were seated in about 5. Food came quickly and was hot, and a proper amount of time was provided between appetizers and the main courses. The server was polite and efficient, and the rest of the staff were quite helpful. B-LUX comes highly recommended!
