Amazing & delicious food with great service! Interior is nicely decorated and so clean & well kept. Host was very nice and answered our question when asked what he recommends. Ordered butter chicken & chicken tikka masala - both of them delicious and soooo flavorful. Got normal & garlic naan ???? mango lassi to drink- which was a lil weird since it’s like drinkable yogurt but went good with the food. Can’t wait to be back next time in columbus!
This is my favorite restaurant in all of Columbus. The food is absolutely amazing no matter what you order. I personally LOVE palak paneer so I’m always sure to get that when I come. All of the breads are amazing, and the mango lassi is always a great pairing as well! I’ve done carry out and it is equally as delicious and eating in the restaurant. I cannot recommend Awadh enough!
We have been dining here since they opened a few years ago. Not only is the waitstaff friendly and efficient, the food is consistently satisfying. Whether dining in or getting take out we are always pleased with the quality. You can certainly tell that the staff at Awadh cares about their food and their guests. We have moved out of Columbus, but still visit when we are in town.
They also have a gluten and dairy free menu; which is appreciated.
Pan fried spicy paneer is must try in starters. We loved the freshness of paneer. We loved the food and ambiance. I would definitely recommend this place if you are around.
The food was spectacular, arguably the best Indian food in Columbus. Pricing very fair for generous portion sizes. The wait staff were all extremely friendly and attentive. Ordered the butter chicken, lamb korma, palak paneer, baigan ka bharta, and the cheese and garlic naans. I had the mango lassi and my partner ordered a long Island ice tea which he says was the best he’s ever had (made with quality ingredients). A new favourite and a new staple, will definitely return.
Such a hidden gem! If you're looking for authentic Indian food at a reasonable price, this is the place. Everything was delicious. The butter chicken and chicken tikka masala were so flavorful. The service was good - waiters were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back
We visited for the first time on Saturday night. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Columbus. Diverse menu with plenty of vegetarian and meat dishes, numerous bread options, lots of different types of appetizers, and a full bar. Very friendly and helpful staff. Unlike some Indian establishments in the area with good food, Awadh also has a nice, welcoming interior if you decide to eat in. We've eaten at MANY Indian restaurants in the Columbus area and we thought it was one of the 2-3 best.
Got there once by chance, AMAZING food & service. The chef is a pure genius, the food he made was masterpiece. Clean place, convenient location, I felt safe & totally in comfort of being here.
Waiter was polite & attentive. When asked, waiter gave me a good advice!
Minor cons: no wine, beer only+ liquers and cocktails. Still, beer was decent and tasted good!
I’ll come there again and will take my friends with me, if there would be a chance!
