Lovely salad take-out eatery with avocado as the centerpiece. My Greek avocado salad was delicious, fresh, with a nice balance of olives, feta, tahini dressing, pickled radishes, toasted sunflower seeds, lettuce, avocado, and more. There is ample seating available at the food court. Lovely atmosphere and very kid-friendly. Fast service.

My recent visit to Avo left much to be desired. Despite the promising menu and my partner's recommendation, our experience was marred by an incident that left us feeling frustrated and disappointed.
Upon arriving at the restaurant after a workout session, we were eager to refuel with some protein and good fats. My partner, a regular customer, ordered his usual breakfast bun sandwich but requested the egg to be cooked well done, as he has done on multiple occasions in the past. However, to our surprise, his simple request was denied by the staff, citing the busy nature of the establishment.
Which was false, there were 5 people present; me, my partner , the cook and the female taking the order and Ryan, whom I assume is the manager.
While we understand that restaurants can get busy, this is not the case today. We were taken aback by the refusal, especially since the menu did not state any restrictions on modifications.
As someone who prefers their eggs fully cooked for both taste and safety reasons, this was particularly concerning. We were left wondering about the quality and safety of the eggs being used, especially considering the potential risks associated with undercooked eggs.
Although my partner asked for a refund, which was eventually granted, the tone of the conversation with the manager, Ryan, felt dismissive and unaccommodating. If felt discriminatory!! Plain and simple. It was disappointing to encounter such unwillingness to accommodate a reasonable request, and the experience left us feeling unwelcome.
Beyond the issue with the eggs, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant felt lacking. Despite there being only a few customers present, the service was slow,
In conclusion, our visit to Avo fell short of our expectations. While the food may have potential, the lack of accommodation for simple requests and the indifferent attitude of the staff detracted from the overall experience. We hope that the management takes this feedback constructively to improve their service and create a more welcoming environment for all customers.
Do not risk it to go here. I visited last week. There was a piece of glass which I only discovered after it was in my mouth. I was sharing with my toddler so this was unacceptable. I tried to calm myself down and took it to the restaurant who took my email saying the owner will make a personal apology. Nothing so far. I wasn’t looking to gain anything’s from it but the least they could do is apologize.
I got the Greek Salat and Lychee Dragonfruit smoothie and both were supremmmmeeee. Love the flavors ????
Let’s start by saying this place is fun. Think about it, the entire menu revolves around avocado! Imagine people actually talk about it and it actually exists!
Atmosphere: casual, chill, like a cafe vibe. I’d highly recommend coming here for lunch or breakfast.
Service: fast and friendly. The packaging is mostly cardboard and paper. Minimally plastic. They do use plastic straws, which says a lot about the times if I’m paying attention to it.
Food: we ordered a bunch of food to try. We got every smoothie, the avocado toast with chilli, the green wrap, the Thai bowl, the toast with egg. All delicious. The avocados are super fresh. The bread is good too. The bread of an avocado toast is pretty important when you consider how simple it can get.
You can’t go wrong with avocados. Healthy fats, tons of folate, fiber, potassium, vitamins, magnesium and more.
Very simple and fascinating concept in eating out. I really wasn't warm to the concept of an all avocado eatery at first, but there are more than enough combinations to enjoy a well seasoned variety of avocado wonderment. Will definitely recommend to visit here.
Had been wanting to try this place for a while as I am an avocado lover. Very small shop, as the description says, more like a bar. Kind of original in its style but I feel like it is way overrated. You can find the same plates and dishes in your day-to-day go-to salad place, or in your go-to breakfast/brunch place. Nothing original, I’d say, except for the avocado “burger” and also the sweatshirts and avocado scrubs for sale. Not impressed with the staff as well. Great smoothies. All in all, nothing too special. Industrial City, where it is located, actually was great to hang out at.
This place has tasty and nutritious food. It’s really convenient for an avocado fan like me. The staff is good. It’s a real aesthetic place. I love the way they’re going eco-friendly. It is also near a B70 stop so I don’t have to walk a lot.
