When you come into average Joe's you'll see it's not the average joe. The food is awesome the decor is spectacular. And don't forget ask your waitress what the daily specials are. Everything in there is wonderful they have a super selection of liquors and beers and wines.
We enjoyed our meal tonight! Had great service and great wings and a great Italian Sub, with a good pizza! The sub was similar to Big Don's, delicious. The wings were excellent! The pizza seemed a little light on sauce but, was pretty good.
My wife and I tried this location not knowing what to expect. We are not alcohol drinkers so we probably should have gone elsewhere. Thinking of other 'tavern-style' restaurants in the area, we gave it a chance. The food was limited in selection. I got an Italian sub with sweet potato fries. My wife got some sliders with regular fries. We went early for dinner, prior to any rush. The food was what I'd expect from a bar. Nothing great nor awful. It was okay. I thought it was rather slow for the time. The best thing about our experience was our waitress. She was amazing and we were glad she attended to us. We wanted for nothing and she was very prompt in getting refills, condiments, etc. . I doubt we will return, but I do not blame the establishment, it just was not our cup of tea. The music had some really good songs, and some stuff that sounded like someone was destroying the vinyl.
First time here - I had a bacon cheeseburger and my husband had a turkey club, both with fries. Server was prompt and friendly. Food came out hot and delicious! Fries were perfect. Can’t beat the music playing over the speakers too! Classic rock 60s 70s We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great experience!
This place operates as its name suggests, almost. I’d call it below average joes. The club had been toasted so much the bread was shattering. The house breaded boneless wings lacked any breading. Imagine dropping bare raw chicken into a fryer. The outside crust becomes hard and stringy. Barely ate either one. Even mentioned the food was not good. They could care less. I don’t make a stink about things because it’s a waste of time. I expect a business to recognize there is a problem when someone eats one bite of a dish and says they are done. A great place to have a drink skip the food. Don’t expect great service either way though.
Pretty good drinks. Decent crowd. The food was good. A couple weirdos like every bar, but I like it here
Bartender was nice and seemed busy behind the bar. Cmon though look at this burnt pizza. It should have never went out of the kitchen and I'd normally send it back but I didn't check my to go order. Really haven't had great experiences at this place.
Honestly some if not THE absolute best wings I have ever had. We have been here several times now and it has become a regular stop on our trips to Columbus. The loaded tater tots are also great. It's a great place to eat at a great price!! My only complaint is it is so stinking loud in there I can't carry on or follow a conversation. I wish the music would get turned down a bit. I can't hear the waitress when she asks a question. I point to tell my husband what to order me. I just smile sheepishly when she comes to the table because I can't hear a dang thing she says.. it seems to be a very liked place. They have been busy each time I have been there.
