Joe is a polite human being who gives a detailed explanation of what he is doing. I beleieve he is a reliable person.
I was feeling my clutch has some issues and would fail during my upcoming trip to California. Joe patiently listened to the symptoms I had experienced and test drove the car. He told me the clutch was fine, putting honesty above anything else. Other mechanics had told me I should definitely change the clutch. Clutch is still running fine as Joe diagnosed it. Besides that, the potential quote he gave me was a couple of hundreds cheaper than elsewhere. He's got the ethics, experience, and knowledge to take care of your car.

Joe is an amazing mechanic. He's thorough and never pushes anything you ain't need done to your car. He also very pleasant to work with.

Joe is the ONLY mechanic in town shop wise that has dealership grade experience and uses only OEM parts on your vehicle at the best possible price he can give. He will go over every possible option with you to try and save you the most money he can so you’re not left stranded on spending $1-3k on a repair bill.
Despite the name, the service here is far above average! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Joe is incredibly professional, punctual, honest, and kind. I took my car in for a bumper cover replacement, and he went above and beyond. He even fixed a persistent rumble that other shops couldn't find the cause of! He was also very conscious of my budget and worked to keep costs down as much as possible. Average Joe Auto Repair is the only shop I'll be taking my car to from now on.
Joe is knowledgeable, professional, honest, and kind. You can rely on him telling you what is necessary to do for the car, what is a nice-to-have, what can wait and what cannot. I switched to him after bad experiences with other car repair businesses in town, and have been using his services for about 3 years on a regular basis and can't recommend him highly enough. Have been to Joe's couple times now, he is very experienced, professional and friendly. He tells you what the problem is and how much will it take to fix it and let you decide if you want to fix it or not. I know he also do repairs for the university's vehicles for many years so that tells something. An experienced, trustworthy, wont rip you off mechanic in the area.
