I needed advice on some cars and Bill was very helpful. He took time to explain things over the phone, and then when I brought my car in he remembered me and helped me out. I will definitely trust him in the future with my cars!
I have been using Autosmith for my vehicle repair ever since my previous mechanic retired. I have always gotten a great service from Bill and his staff. I trust them completely and I feel that their integrity is second to none.
My car was not starting and the cables would be sparking and melting the terminals. I called a tow truck about to take it to the dealership, the officer who had escorting the tow-truck and myself back to my vehicle had sung Bill's praises to heaven and back. I had it delivered to Bill, he came out to greet me, talked me through the process, took my name and number and told me he would call back as soon as he was done diagnosing the problem. He got back to me next day with the problem and solution, and started up my vehicle while on the phone so I could hear it. Great guy, very knowledgeable, and very reasonable. Will definately be going back for anything.
Bill is entirely honest from the get-go, well spoken, and knowledgeable. He was able to tell me what he thought was wrong, when he could work on on it, and when he would have it ready. He followed through on all of it. After the fact, he came to where I was to ensure my vehicle was safe to drive. I would send my grandmother to Bill, he's as good as they come. I can't say enough.
Fast service, reasonable prices, great customer service. Bill will diagnose the issue, let you know what needs to be done & the cost and gets the job done quickly and properly the first time. I didn't get pushed off for an appointment like at the dealership. He's my new mechanic hands down.
I really had high hopes for this mechanic as I saw nothing but glowing reviews, but I bring in my car after it had suddenly stopped driving in the middle of going down the road and had had some previous issues of the lights flickering at night. He says he can’t find anything wrong with it or what could be causing my issues except maybe a battery going bad as he tested the cells and one of them was bad and maybe the other problem was a headlight switch but he doesn’t fix that kind of problem. I pay him for his time, go and buy a new battery on his recommendation, and the very next day my car does the same thing and dies in the middle of driving down the road. I call him back and tell him and all he has to say is that he has no idea what could be wrong with it. Not helpful at all.
I highly recommend Autosmith. My husband and I drove from Kansas to Pensacola and while in Pensacola our brakes started grinding. Our photographer referred us here and Bill was great to work with. He was very honest and charges fairly for labor and does not up charge one dime for parts. He told us exactly what was wrong and what would need to be done and got it fixed within a 24 hour time frame. I highly recommend Bill as a good honest mechanic is hard to find so it is encouraging to know there are still some around.
An honest, old school mechanic. He is replacing belts on my Mom's car as I type. He even called her so she wouldn't worry. Good guy.
