Gave us a quote and then “missed” parts in the quote so had to pay $600+ more because they didn’t contact us until AFTER they started the service.
Then never called to tell us the truck was done and once it was done, the cooling fan was malfunctioning and they didn’t do the full service we paid them for. When we took it back in to do the service, they tried to charge us again for the service even though we already paid and we asked them to look at the cooling fan. Instead they only did part of the service and then ordered new parts for a service we didn’t ask for and tried to tell us we’d have to pay for the new parts, even though they didn’t even look in the truck to confirm what was wrong. And before anyone says “they have to charge for their time” they told us we could bring the truck back if anything is wrong and they’d take a look. They had it for 8 hours that day to “take a look” and never looked and just ordered parts but never communicated anything.
This is all after I was spoken to HORRIBLY by the man on the phone and told they don’t even like to do the service because it’s too much time for them but my husband called and they said it’s easy and no problem.
Absolutely terrible service. Do not recommend and will not be returning.
The staff at Auto Works were very kind friendly informative and professional. They ordered the parts immediately and got my jeep in in a timely fashion and got it done and back to me without it Breaking the bank. I feel they were fair and honest They did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone that needed work done on the vehicle and already have
Took my 2006 VW to their location to see about coolant overheating, wiper fluid leaks and general diagnostics. They weren't able to locate errors (mainly good that is) they did fill my wiper fluid- however it was with fluid I had in my car, knowing that there was a leak somewhere in the line (that they couldn't find). They never told me that they used my fluid- when I called them about it, they advised that this happens due to customers wanting them to use what they had- THIS WAS NEVER ASKED OR RELAYED TO ME-
They then proceeded to tell me that I could bring my empty bottles (which they left in my car) to them and they would fill them or give me 2 bottles at no cost. Went in 02.01.2023 to have that fulfilled- however they then proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay for it.
This customer service is not customer service-
It's sad- they impressed me with other auto work- but then did this----- I know its only over a $6 dollar amount- but to state one thing, then turn around and say another as well as not bringing it up at the beginning. Plus leaving empty bottles in the car- FILE 13 them- and advise the customer what you did.
Serious lack of communication and customer service skills-
We had a great experience at this mechanics. Dylan & Troy were very helpful & friendly & got us back on the road in no time. We were passing through town in our RV & they made time to fit us in. The receptionist was also very friendly & efficient. We would recommend this establishment to anyone. Many thanks guys. We really appreciate the excellent service.
The man I spoke with on the phone while I was trying to get my vehicle in last minute was so extremely accommodating and helpful giving me advice and input for how I should proceed, despite being busy. Thats not something you come across when calling mechanic shops last minute! Appreciate the consideration and kindness.
Not professional! I got my thermostat changed and 6 weeks later the thermostat was failing again and they weren’t willing to work with me without trying to charge me extra for them “testing things” they said. Testing what? I got it checked from another auto shop and they confirmed the thermostat was faulty. Each person on the phone told me different things and in the end the owner hung up on me because he didn’t like my voice. I eventually went in and got a full refund because I have to get it fixed still. I’m just going to someone trustworthy who doesn’t see a young girl and charge her an arm and a leg because you think I’m dumb…
Got my car back after a new engine install which I thought went great but after I left it noticed the steering wheel was severely off aligned. Also my engine light came in the day after and everytime I get done driveing it there is a burnt smell on the front passenger side. Definitely rethinking this shop for any future repairs. Hopefully they will fix it....
Great place! I was on a road trip and my check engine light came on. They were able to help me. Service was fast and there was no change as it was a quick fix. So very thankful!
