Very professional and very accommodating. We were on a long trip. The RV tailpipe came off coming down a mountain. The manager and staff took great care in not just fixing it for me but quickly. The price was reasonable too!!
Just recently had some exhaust work done on my pick up truck, these guys done a great job.
We used this shop for about a year and a half. Every time we took a vehicle in to get repaired it came out with new problems it didn't have going in. When we tried to address this with the shop they would blame us. I took our ford focus in to get air conditioner fixed and the day I picked it up there was a check engine light on. I told the shop this and they claimed it had nothing to do with anything they did. It wasn't on before we took it in. They charged us to fix that. This repeated through out every job we had them do. It was never done right the first time. Always had additional issues they charged us to fix. We are switching to a new shop now. please beware taking your vehicle to this shop.
I noticed the air conditioner in my car was taking a while to get cold. Being a mechanics daughter- I knew I could have the Freon recharged and filter changed. That is exactly what I asked Auto tech to do- when I got the call from the tech saying he had added some Freon, he said he had found two small leaks- he fixed one and the other was on the compressor but that it’s was minuscule enough that I would make it through the summer at least. I opted not to have the compressor replaced. Picked up my car and now the AC won’t turn on at all. When I press the AC button, it just flashes three times and turns back off. I when I call the receptionist says “notes say it needs a new compressor so we can’t fix it til you pay for a new compressor.” Except it worked when I brought it in and that’s NOT what the tech said when I spoke to him the first time. Can you say SCALPERS!! They can’t handle something as simple as recharging an AC…and will now not return my calls or fix what they’ve broken.
my mom took her 2008 ford 350 that she just bought to auto tech.. worst repair show around, they were supposed to delete her exhaust system and re-program her computer for the delete. Charged her $1,500 and all they did was unplug the sensor. she had nothing but problems when she got it back not to mention the truck wouldn’t go above 40mph. Nick the manager told her she didn’t need to go any faster and nothing was wrong with the truck . Nick and 4 other guys in the shop pretty much corned my mom and called dumb and told her she doesn’t know anything about trucks!!!! Nick is the manager there and is a joke to deal with. We took the truck to a different shop and are dealing with wiring/computer problems from auto techs laziness!!!
Very disappointed in the service. Our diesel truck’s injector system blew and sent shards through the whole fuel system. Had a quote elsewhere for $9,500. We received a quote from Auto tech to match or beat it. They said they where confident in doing the job and could get it done quicker. Took way longer than they promised. Many times we drove by it was sitting in parking lot when it was supposed to be in shop being worked on. When it was all said and done, it ended up being $2000 over quote. The mechanic in charge was on vacation and a lady and one other man in the shop could not correctly explain why it was over so much. The lady could see the frustration and offered to knock off $1000. However if someone that works the office can just knock that kind of money off without any clearance from mechanics or shop owners, that tells me something is not done right. I drove the truck home and paid half at the time until I could work out the rest with shop mechanic who said he would be the one working on it. Truck had issues not running right and with chip since it had to be reprogrammed for the larger injectors. Took my truck back in a total of 4 times for them to try and fix the issue. I also couldn’t get ahold of the mechanic that was the one who should have worked on it and sounds like he didn’t. Found out I was missing my heat shield and other bolts from under my hood. No one seemed to know where they where located. Still do not have them. My fuel lines appear to be refurbished or used and then cleaned. I explained how important it was that they are brand new even if aftermarket. I should have listened when I heard that they will quote you and then add things to bill, or up your price without calling for approval first. If you like financial surprises, then this is the place for you. The office lady is also very disrespectful any time I call in and tell her my name. Ran into her at the local store and she threw a lovely snobby face at me.
Was passing through town and my van threw a check engine light and went into limp mode. I limped to the shop and they had it fixed by the next morning as they had to order the part. Great service, and even better they explained all the issues in plain English and talked me through what they were doing the whole time. Thanks y’all!
