I drove over to the AutoCenter to make an appointment to have my car service for what I thought was some minor issues.
Ben helped me before and thankfully, Ben was there today. I told him that I thought I needed an alignment or maybe a tire rotation. Ben said that they didn’t do either but he offered to take it for a test drive. However, he noticed that my tires were low. So, he put air in all four tires and then we left. While driving my car, he said, that my car was running just fine; it just needed air in the tires.
Ben not only saved me money but wouldn’t take any payment for his time.
There aren’t too many honest mechanics around, however, Ben at AutoCenter is!!

After reading all glowing reviews I called for battery replacement and bracket hold replacement immediately after being rescued by AAA. Off top I explained and gave disclaimer the car has many issues. I was told sorry I'm not experienced with "electrical" issues were mainly a body shop ???? this response is contrary to reviews...
Ben was really knowledgeable and able to get my Rusty Caliper Replaced nice and clean. He is also enthusiastic about his job and showed me around my car patiently. I much appreciate mechanics who wear work suit with oils stains than a nice front desk person.
Over charges repeat customer's, my alternator was going out he sold us a battery said alternator was good. 3weeks later back alternator gone, all the way out. He charged $680 for the second job, &500 for the battery and oil change
One week ago from today I had set a appointment with BEN Told him the work I was needing and he told me he can change the crankshaft no problem gave me a estimate at 245 then I wanted the seal changed and he quoted me a extra 50 I was fine with it then I had my car pushed into his shop and he looked at it and told me he can’t do the work then continued to yell at me saying he can’t do the work I told him we talked about this and he agreed to do the work before I took the day off of work to bring it in his shop spend 500 already for the parts and now he doesn’t want to touch it and telling me to take the car out his shop.
Horrible service horrible owners and they call them selfs mechanics but they can’t change a pully ?? Don’t chose this shop too good to be true

Fast service; competent, no-nonsense staff are easy and pleasant to communicate with; and good repairs at fair prices. I'd never been here before, but when my brake pedal went down to the floor, I nursed my car carefully to Auto Repair Center at 10th and Folsom. They had a new master cylinder and brake flush done by the next day, along with a couple of other things I asked for. This will be my go-to location for car repairs.
Great shop! The check engine light on my suv started coming on after a recent oil change. The place that changed my oil refused to acknowledge their responsibility. Luckily Auto Repair Center was able to find the source of the problem and fix it right away. Now the check engine light is no longer coming on. These guys are great!
