Hard to find honest mechanics these days. Wesson was 5/5 stars. Took my car in with an issue that’s been going on for a long time he was able to fix it for a reasonable price. I Will be coming back to him for all my my car issues. I recommend Wesson and auto mechs to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled mechanic. ????????????
First time repairing my car they broke my window and mess up the ignition real bad. Came up to Auto Mechs very helpful with the process took a week for them to repair nearly everything great work! Well recommended ????????
I have user Automechs now 2 times and Wes is a great knowledgeable mechanic. Definitely my new mechanic from here on out. The first repair was a hose that was needed and caused my car to smoke and the second time was a faulty engine coil and during this repair he noticed a leak that would caused a bigger problem if it was not fixed in time. The time of the return of my vehicle was wonderful and I have zero complaints. Thank you so much !
My bf took my car to the dealership for a diagnostic test, and the experience was terrible. They were not attentive in the least, ridiculously overpriced, and outright rude. I wasn’t having that, so I looked around and came across Auto Mechs, which just happens to be black-owned. From my first call, Wesson was extremely attentive, helpful, professional while friendly, reasonable, honest, and knowledgeable about addressing the issues recommended by the dealership. I took my car in a couple days later and Wesson began working on it immediately. He even called to update me on the progress of the brake, valve, and ATF change. During that update he quoted me a rate, but once I came to pay he informed me that he found a cheaper way to get to and replace my valve which cut my price in half ????????. So he saved me tons of money, had all my services completed in a timely manner, provided exceptional service, and earned a new loyal customer. I highly recommend Auto Mechs to anyone in need of a long or short term auto mechanic.
I made 2 appointments, the first one I came and they just weren't open when they told me to come in. When the 2nd time I came they said 1 hour. When I came back my car wasn't there. They were driving my car around for some reason. Said they were test driving. For a brake inspection I think u just need to look at them. U can see the wear by looking.. but in the hour or more they had my car they hadn't done anything to the car, so I just had to go. Idk what's up with that, kinda funny but also kind of a waste of time. Hope they had a good lunch in my car heh.
Hands down one of the best mechanics in Oakland! These guys are honest, quick and reliable. Their pricing is great and they even charged me less than originally quoted because they found a way to make the repair quicker.
Great place with excellent service! Wesson has helped me multiple times make sure my Mazda is safe and running great. Most recently with a clutch repair after my release bearing fell into disrepair. Honest and transparent about timing and pricing.
They do good work on my daughter Malibu she haven’t had to go back about any issues on the parts they worked on.This the shop to go to , they very honest about what’s going on with your car and timely work done.
