If I could I would give him 0 stars this is what he really deserved. scamming people saying one price up front and then charging Extra.
I have been coming here yearly for an inspection. I know the people there and have remained loyal going solely to them for my inspection. Today when going I had my oil light on. My significant other has their own repair shop and does my oil for FREE. The owner came up to me saying that my oil is dangerously low. I asked how much synthetic/3months would be - he replied $46. The inspection is $36. Together total should be $82. I go to pay and the girl tells me "$114" EXCUSE ME WHAT?! I went to the owner and he said "I'll tell her", I go back to the office and she said "$96, with tax and because he thought you had 5L but you have 6L"..... are you kidding me? 1st I SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR THE PRICE, it is their responsibility to ensure they are relaying accurate information. On top of that I COULD HAVE GOTTEN IT DONE FOR FREE. I agreed to the $46 thinking I'd save my s.o. the work and $ for the oil. What a HUGE mistake. I was a loyal patron and now I'm boycotting anything to do with this place. I've called all my family and friends (I'm Italian, were talking minimum 200 people in my family) and NO ONE will be going here. To all those reading my review please DO NOT go here. You will get cheated. Someone actually told me "this is why women don't do these things" EXCUSE ME? So a woman cannot do things independently when it comes to her car because she will be cheated? This is ridiculous. My father is an Inspector for the NYPD and he is already telling his officers to not go to this place. They will also tell their family and friends. I am also posting this to my following on social media - they are about to be infamous. This review will stay up unless I am reimbursed for this atrocity (which we all know won't happen). I am also reporting this location to the Better Business Bureau for cheating customers, false pricing and fraudulent services. I am having my s.o. review the oil change work - will edit with any updates. Again DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CHEATED.
They did more damage than good! Unprofessional, they want to sell u extra services and parts for triple the real cost. If you don't buy them they will fail your inspection and charge u for that. Avoid and go to real mechanic, avoid these fools! They have no clue what they are doing!
Just to change oil is OK, but never ever ask them to fix something else, even windshield wipes. This place sucks.
I wish I’d read the reviews before I went there. TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE auto shop. I went there because I had a Check Engine light on , they told me to not worry because some parts would fix the engine. 2 days later they told me my engine died and it’s not good. Avoid it at all costs
Today I'm there 2 hours they didn't no thing ,they workers so bed and every machine broken ????????????
Took my SUV there for an oil change. They asked me if I wanted to replace my tires, to which I declined. After the oil change, my TPMS went off and I found two very long nails driven into my tires. Avoid this place at all costs. Will be sending a complaint to the attorney general for malicious practices.
All the times that I go for inspection they always find something.. minimum charge 300$
One time he did things without my approval
Another time I had a problem with air filter, they change me another part charge me 400$ and the problem still there and there excuse was " the car was need that part also"
Really not honest management.
I was going there just because was close to my house.
