Honest and professional mechanics who complete the work properly. This is my go-to vehicle repair company due to its quick response time and reasonable cost.
Pulled right in, quick wash, got my car clean but chipped it too, I guess you get what you pay for. My wash was $5 it felt a little weird I'm use to pulling in and aligning my car on conveyer tracks but no, this one you pull in the machine work around you! So whole time it felt like I was moving when I wasn't supposed to be ????.
Very nice shop! They're honest guys! For the single females, you ladies are safe here for all your auto repairs needs!
They take really good care of you. Make sure to get your needs met, treat you well, and don't break your bank. Give them a visit.
I am editing my post because the owner - Sam, reached out to me shortly after my initial post and asked for more details about what happened. He took the time to listen to what I had to say and apologized for what happened and explained that he has a policy that if a repair is not done to satisfaction to return it to them and it will be corrected. Well because I didn't feel that my issue would be addressed properly I sought help from a trusted mechanic and what was uncovered made me glad that I went to him. However, by not returning it to Auto Excel initially I put the management on the defensive and made them less reluctant to consider reimbursement for the items the "other" mechanic performed. I guess the thing that irked me the most was after explaining why I went to the other mechanic and hearing Wylie's hesitation; the fact that no one ever called me back to let me know how the outcome of speaking with the "owner" was. Sam agreed to meet with my wife and me and agreed to reimburse us for what we thought was fair. I will give Auto Excel an opportunity to regain my business and trust. It says a lot about Sam to care enough to call me and offer to discuss my frustration and "make it right" as he stated. I admire that very much. I need some work done on our vehicles soon. I'll let y'all know how it goes.
I do not recommend this repair shop at all. Wylie is not to be trusted because he is not a man of his word. In October 2018, I took my wife's car in because her water pump was leaking. I authorized the replacement of the water pump, serpentine belt and was advised that the timing belt may need to be replaced. The work was completed and paid the quoted amount of $800.00. We picked it up prior to closing on Saturday and my wife drove it straight home. When we got home there was whitish smoke coming from under the hood. It smelled like melting plastic or wiring. We didn't drive it until we spoke to Wylie and he advised us to bring it back in. The very next day the check engine light came on so I took the car to
O'Reilly's to see what the problem was - the #1 cylinder was misfiring. I returned it to the shop and told them that the check engine light was on. They ran the diagnostic and said the #1 cylinder was misfiring which is what I already knew. Wylie told me that he would charge me just for the parts, which came out to $80.00. We drove it home and a couple days later my wife told me that since then, when she was driving our kids to school and then to work she smelled smoke in the car. Also, the check engine light was back on again. Went to O'Reilly's again and the #1 cylinder was misfiring again. Plus, there was a carbon monoxide seeping into the car. Definitely an unhealthy amount. We decided to visit our cross town mechanic to get his opinion. He discovered that the vacuum hose tube had been broken (by them), but instead of replacing it the mechanic used electrical tape to put it back together. It did not last. It was burning and melting which was the smoke and in the car. Upon removing the spark plugs the mechanic noticed that the #1 spark plug did not match the other five plugs, it was shorter. Lastly, the mechanic asked me if I was aware that the serpentine belt completely bypassed the A/C compressor. The repair cost $1200.00. I returned to let Wylie know what had happened and showed him the 6 spark plugs and the new serpentine belt they had installed in October when the water pump was replaced. I also showed him pictures of the broken vacuum tube. Wylie said that his mechanic would never install the wrong belt and the wrong spark plug. He called the parts distributor and they confirmed that it went to a 2008 Charger, but one that does not have an air compressor. Wylie kept insisting that his mechanic would never do this. I then asked if he actually witnessed his mechanic perform the work and he said no. I was able get Wylie to acknowledge that it was not outside the realm of possibilities for his mechanic to install the wrong spark plug without having seen the other five.
What stood out to me was their attention to detail— they didn't just rush through the job but took the time to ensure everything was done right.

Prices are very high and the owner Sam left screw off my front end after installing a radiator and I had too go back for that and the coolant was low
