Took my 2018 Truck on May 17, 2024 for a state inspection. It passed inspection, but I take exception to the way they inspected my safety brake. The put the safety brake on, car in drive and gunned the engine several times at max RPM causing the engine torque to rock the whole vehicle!!! Explained what they did to a Master Auto Mechanic who said that this is not per procedure, and could damage the engine and motor mounts! He said this was an attempt to fail my vehicle, but my Nissan Frontier held up to the punishment. If you love your vehicle, do not have it inspected here!!!
Had my car for 7 days and kept guessing the problem. Did not fix that whole time. Broke something and didn’t inform me. I had to call everyday to check on if my car was done. Will charge you for labor they guessed it might be, if it’s not what they guessed they will charge you to take it off as well. Do not recommend.
So if I could give this place ten stars I would. Eric is amazing I called told him the problem and the day I wanted to bring it and he said let’s go. I got there at 730 and he was already there. He told me where I was in line. After inspecting he called and told me the issue the options and the price. Shortly after he said it’s ready. He was professional, proficient and great conversation. He’s knowledgeable on cars like expert on cars. I’d definitely go back and plan on making him my family mechanic. I appreciate the concern he had and actually telling me what I needed no fluff. He’s amazing…
I always take my car to Auto Break versus the dealer. The prices are fair, the service is first rate. Everyone is so nice and respectful. They never try and get me to do something I don't need.
They always go above and beyond. Strongly recommend them.
Be careful; employees have changed & the integrity is not the same. One of their mechanics recently let my sister's car sit for a week without repair or diagnosis. He later explained that he didn't want to work in the cold. While having it towed to another business, the mechanic quickly diagnosed the issue: a new radiator & a few other things for $1900. Subsequent mechanic, several flushes & a thermostat and she's good as new. I miss Craig Sr. and Sharon. The business is not BBB accredited.
These guys were great! They let me know what was happening with my vehicle before making the repairs and let me know how long it would take ????????They replaced 2 motor mounts and a starter.
Went in for car inspection needless to say l needed to have some work done. Now l realize l should have taken my car somewhere else. Because now lm having to pay out more money to correct the mistakes they made. Please be very cautious when taking your vehicle there.
I have been bringing my vehicles to Auto Brake since 2000 and I am always happy with the owner and we’ll as the staff
