Was recommended to Scott. My 1940 ford hot rod had a door rattle which I thought was the power windows. The left window also was faster at going up than right window. He determined rattle not window but door and as far as window speed suggest that because only 3 second difference wasn’t worth going further to which I agreed.
The car also was hard to start after driving. Scott found that the heat from headers was causing issue. The fix was small high torque starter, new cables since they were smaller than what was required, new gel battery since battery in trunk had no venting and the existing wet cell battery could cause potential problems. He also found a few other wiring issues that he corrected. His attention to detail and his professionalism is outstanding. The car has never started as well and the issues I had are gone. The owner of this repair shop is very friendly and straight forward. I had rodents chew through the wires running to the connector for my coil pack #3 and I could not drive my car. I needed the wiring fixed urgently and the owner spoke with me and got the connector fixed within an hour. Paid $65 compared to $1000+ for a new engine harness and labor. 10/10 recommend.
Great experience with having a car starter rebuilt. Scott was able to identify the problem quickly, rebuilt it in a timely manner of 2 days (I stated wasnt in a rush), & when I put the starter on my old car it felt as strong as ever. Very reasonable on the price as well, quoted me $90, charged me $85. Will definitely recommend & will use Auto Air Marine Electric again when needed.
Scott the owner is very upfront with estimates and cost. My driver side power window was out. He replaced switch for 222.00.Saved around $500.00 from dealer cost.All done in one day. I recommend anyone with electrical issues to see Scott.
Scott is straight forward. When he trouble shoots your vehicle he doesn't play the expensive game of trail and error on your dime. If he can't pin point the problem at the time he'll figure out another way. He's honest and super fair. He had my truck for a few days didn't charge me a dime. It's one of those electronic mysteries that will eventually show its face in time.
Almost $400 later my electrical problems were still there. When I got home I realized that they had torn up the trim in order to easily access the wiring. Rather than remove it professionally they just pulled it out of the way crumpled up my headliner and damaged the gasket around the windshield. No easy fix and I'm stuck. This shop is dirty unprofessional, unsophisticated electrically and the idea of customer service alien.
