Great experience with this moving company from start to finish! Pretty sure they're a family owned and ran business... so keep it local! The guys were on time, packed everything well, and we're courteous throughout. Would definitely recommend and thanks again!

Huge shout out to you guys. I wish I fully caught the names of the guys who packed us up today but they were amazing. Polite, respectful, funny, and very professional! I absolutely love they took the time to check all our boxes (things were in storage), packaged all our furniture properly, and they even made double sure some sentimental items of mine were wrapped super well. I would recommend y’all and the workers who packed us today. Thank you!!
I can say Austin's was the best movers I have ever had I spoke with Dusty and he was able to save me money by having his guys come out one day and move my gun safe then switch trucks for the following day to move my household items! The guys showed up on time and walked through with me to see what was getting moved and the guys started getting my belonging out at lighting speed. Despite the speed the guys were working everything was wrapped in heavy blankets with straps around the item to ensure no damage then once at our new home they were asking where to place items to set up the house for us with little adjusting for my wife and I to do. Thank you guys for a great moving experience!
We are so very happy to have hired Austin Moving and Storage! We had a 2100 sq. ft. house (4 BR/2 Bath) that was moved 3 miles down the road to a temporary rental home and it only took 2.5 hrs. to complete the job. The movers were on-time, hard-working, and courteous. When our new home is finished and we're ready to move again, we will hire Austin again.
This company helped an elderly friend of mine move from one apartment to the next. They were there on time, they packed her whole apartment, moved her to her new apartment and unpacked it for her. This was no easy task they did it professionally and with grace! I would highly recommend these guys!
They had not called within 3 business days of household goods pickup. I called them (a Thursday) and they were not going to come out to do their walk through until the day before pickup (a Monday). I asked them how we could possibly be fully prepared for the movers if we were given less then 24 hrs to make sure everything was good to go. Nobody had even called to ask if Monday was okay with us. So they agreed to come out Friday.
-The movers arrived on time, but their professionalism was definitely lacking. Robert arrived smelling like alcohol on day one. I should note that the lady mover (her name escapes me) seemed the most polite and helpful of the bunch. Nobody seemed very open to giving us any information. It was more like we're here, sign this, we're leaving. We had to ask to find out anything. If we didn't think to ask, we were not told. The owner's son (I don't remember a name) seemed really good at wrapping or packaging things like bookcases and end tables.
-I did like that Robert brought it to my attention that one of our bookcases had a fair amount of damage on the back. I'm glad he did because I didn't realize it was there.
-I did not like that the legos inside the lego table were put into a milkcrate full of toys. The legos, of course, fell right through the giant holes in the milk crate. When the destination movers unwrapped it, the pieces were dropping out of the papers left and right. Those that remained in the crate after unwrapping continued to fall out of it as the movers carried it to the appropriate room. Legos pieces were found scattered around the house for days after the delivery.
-They brought a crate with an incredibly chewed up door. It was so bad that it only made contact with the crate on two sides. Why even bother to bring the door when it looks like that? I understand that they did a patchwork job on it when they got it to the warehouse, but why even use it when it has way surpassed it's usefulness?
-They used a single set of 4 seals to seal up 2 separate crates (2 seals each). This happened twice. I didn't notice it until we received our shipment and realized we had already counted a seal number as having arrived, but did not have the right number of crates.
-They took the last crate of goods back to the warehouse and repacked them into a smaller crate. It would have been nice to be able to take a picture of the crate. I could have used it to show the claims people to prove that we should have indeed received it.
-Dusty or Dustin was nice enough to let us know what our total weight was so we could determine if we had gone over our limit or not. This was a big help as it let us know how much we could put into Unaccompanied Baggage without going over our total weight allowance. That was greatly appreciated. :)
Best movers in town. Courteous and friendly.. They have moved me 4 times in the past 16 years and if I move again, Austin Moving & Storage will be who I call.
