Best WLM Reviews
Had an amazing brunch here. They were super accommodating for a large group to celebrate a special event to sit on the patio. Drinks were fantastic but the food was even better. All the different pastas, steak and eggs, and bennys rocked. Espresso martini was really good made with the right ingredients if that’s your thing! Hope to come back for dinner sometime.
Everything was lovely, from the food to the ambiance to the service. We ate brunch here and loved it. The french toast and eggs benedict were delicious. 100% recommend for weekend brunch !
Eight of us came here for brunch on a Sunday and really enjoyed the place. We had a reservation, but with a smaller group you may be able to go without calling in ahead of time. They have a covered outdoors area, which will be beautiful in the summer. Overall solid brunch spot
I came here for brunch and sat outdoors. It took over 35 minutes for me to get my food and I was only there with one other person. My burger was a bit too salty but overall a good burger. The eggs Benedict was delicious.
Today with my family, dined at Aurora Restaurant and was impressed with the delicious offerings and the charming atmosphere. The food was exceptional, and the drink selection complemented the meals perfectly. Dining outdoors added to the overall pleasant experience, making it a picturesque setting. However, my experience was slightly marred by the service. The waitress serving us, a brunette, seemed to have an off day and it unfortunately impacted the dining experience. Her attitude was noticeably poor, which didn't go unnoticed by other patrons as well. While another server, who was blonde, and guys working on the floor were incredibly friendly and attentive, the inconsistency in service led to a less than perfect visit. My advice to the management would be to perhaps have friends or anonymous reviewers evaluate the service, as it could deter patrons from returning despite the wonderful culinary experience. Overall, I rate Aurora 4 stars—worth visiting for the food and atmosphere, but there's a caveat with the service that could be improved.
Food was good. Not the best pasta I’ve ever had but decent. The olive oil cake came with a salted caramel ice cream, which was a little sweet for my taste. The bruschetta fig toast was good too, but the sweet, caramelised figs carried most of it. The boar pappardelle was good though.
This restaurant is a true culinary haven in New York! From the moment we tasted the ravioli, risotto, octopus, and potatoes, we knew we had stumbled upon something extraordinary. Each dish was a symphony of flavors that transported us to a heavenly food experience. I can't recommend this place highly enough. And let's not forget the desserts - the tiramisu and chocolate cake were divine! A must-visit for any food lover!
Pros:
1. Mickey the host was very hospitable; he explained in the most professional & caring way why he couldn’t accommodate our request for a time change.
2. Food was flavorful, and portioned well.
3. Drink & Food arrived at a decent time; no long wait.
4. We were seated promptly
Cons:
1. Our server Veronica or Victoria don’t remember was cold. Her interactions weren't warm; appeared she didn’t care to take any extra steps.
2. Seating was very tight. Getting in & out your seat was a disturbance to the next table.
3. Two F&B sanitary issues. Our ice was replaced a few times & still not consumable due to red particles in the ice. There was hair on the bottom of the plate. Didn’t bring to the the severs attn because like I stated she seemed like she didn’t care.
Overall the value is there; would give it another shot.
