Best WLM Reviews

Again, stopped at a small business owned restaurant for breakfast. Husband ordered a breakfast sandwich and I ordered the western omelette, both came with cottage fries (for the people in the east, they are home fries).
When we were leaving, I saw the lunch portion and it's more food than anyone should eat!
Everything was seasoned very nicely. The restaurant is clean and pleasantly decorated.
Support small business owned shops .. they always have the best food.
Aunt Nancy's is a real cozy and down to earth breakfast and lunch restaurant. You feel like you're going into someone's house... the front of the restaurant is lovely and quaint. The food was very yummy and homemade..... the home fries were fantastic, the French toast was delicious, the bacon was crispy and crunchy! Our server was lovely.... she was very fun and accommodating and went out of her way to make us have a nice experience. The only small criticism I would make is that I wish they would serve real butter and not margarine. Aunt Nancy herself is a lovely person, and we will indeed return for more good food! Homemade pies as well!????
Absolutely amazing! Ignore any review complaining about the portion size or cost. Food costs more now and if you can’t afford to support a small business, stay home! The pancakes are so good. The hot chocolate is amazing.
Stopped around 8:30-9am on a Sunday when they opened there was a small amount of locals leaving & some inside enjoying their meals. Coming inside the staff was very welcoming, we were able to pick where we wanted to sit. We ordered our drinks, then our food mins later & the food came quick while the locals came & left. The food portions were pretty big for the price. So come with an appetite. ???? A great little restaurant tucked away.
Stopped I for breakfast at 8a when they opened with a small crowd of locals. Got in and had coffee and our breakfast quick while watching a steady stream of folks come and go. Food was good portion and well prepared for the price. Biscuit and gravy could’ve been warmed more, but that my only thought. Well worth a visit to this charming country breakfast joint. Update: been here several times and always has been excellent t!
Was hoping for more, I love a good family run small breakfast place. Loved the location near the EA Charger, was hoping I found a gem, but definitely needs some improvement; I had an omelet which was good; my kids did NOT like the waffles, they tasted like dried, freezer burnt toast... we will give them another try hoping it was a one off issue
Classic cafe atmosphere that is authentic (as in its super kitschy, but not because they think you’ll like it but because they do). The food quality was great for a cafe (we’ve been to a few cafes in the area and this was our favorite food-wise by far!). We split the special a cinnamon roll and a hot chocolate:
•Eggs sunny side up: Average (what you’d expect from any cafe)
•Cottage potatoes: Above average (comparing to hash browns you’d typically get at a cafe). They were like a mix between scalloped potatoes and hash browns and we loved it.
•Biscuit and gravy: Average (what you’d expect from any cafe)
•Chicken fried steak: Above average. They had great flavor and good mouth feel (whatever that means, but I can’t figure out how else to explain it)
•Hot chocolate: Excellent! They served it in two pieces, a mug FULL of whipped cream (like actually cream that was whipped) and then a cute little metal container to dump on top.
•Cinnamon Roll: Excellent! Great frosting, served hot and with a strawberry (which I thought was unique AND delicious!). My wife said it was the best she’d had, which I thought was a little over the top, but it was definitely delicious!
It was a little more pricey than I expected, but within the realm of what to expect from a cafe. Our meal ended up costing about $20 for all of that. The waitress was nice, but we’re glad we got in early because it got crowded (Saturday morning) by the time we left and she was busy.
We’d like to come back next time we’re in Show Low!
Eggs, potatoes, bacon were very good. Pancakes and syrup not so good. Service was excellent.
