There are too few rounds. Virtually everything has to return to the transit facility to catch another bus. And the buses do not run long enough during the day.
They have an app for your phone that is supposed to be able to tell you the next scheduled bus and help you plan a trip. The problem is, however, (as you can see from the photo I included) three routes, and sometimes arbitrarily more, have only one bus now.
The people responsible for updating the information in the app are clearly not doing their job. I have been left stranded on many occasions in the heat or the rain, but they seem not to care. They do not keep their information up to date, and even when you call the dispatcher gives you information without remembering that there is now only one bus on a particular route. They think that by sticking a piece of paper on a pole outside by the buses is sufficient enough information to let people know that certain routes do not operate as frequently as they once did. How pitiful.
The people who work there should be ashamed of themselves and the city should be held accountable. After all, those of us who ride the bus are merely peons... SMH!
If I could give 0 stars I would, getting on the bus today the driver was rude. Even another passenger stated she didn't need to have an attitude. The small lady drive is sweet hate when she has a day off.
Worst scheduling ever. Can't wait till my car gets fixed. I feel sorry for people who have to depend on Augusta Transit services.
Better life for indigenous negros like me is had by calling here .. police commune with them as the church. In past I hated it now I'm just neutral . They add to gawking by black field homies by permitting the hood to although pay, illegally tail "excluded negresses, I'm labeled Retard who can't miss bus or find her way home from library.". They don't stop east boundary or south side from stirring up drama. Busses were Free until I arrived back here last year...I didn't go away to get clean I left due to no support and hatred if being around negros who'll get their hair braided by someone else...and watch me like spooks. It's apparently a place where bathroom is for crack smokers because they hang around bus terminal like it's a religious environment. Don't take no for answer and the whites on Washington road bus sell crack. They are mostly Muslims black and white males praising Mohammed Ali....Chris Rock (the dude who came to me late in 2003 it was around winter time and gave me two dollar bill and didn't do nothing else). I was chased by him and John Cena the Wrestler and David Blaine, and Daniel Craig, of 007,( he took me shopping then when excited the perimeter mall, took the clothes back). People need to know, if I wanted to answer to civilians who have civil rights and I don't, I could have ...I don't regret my decisions.

Signage is old and worn. Restrooms were out of order. Outdoor seating is limited and is located on the edge of the shelters so rain comes downon them. Reasonable fare but scheduling is awful. Times should be later than 7pm and 8pm. Not what you would expect from a large city.
I would give them a negative star if I could. Augusta Public Transit has the worst transit system put in place. The station on Broad Street looks like it can fall apart anytime. There should be more bus shelters for the customers outside. The buses are constantly breaking down causing people to be late for work, medical/dental appointments, getting a education at school etc. There also needs to be more routes for the Augusta area. I have to walk about 40 mins to the nearest bus stop and a lot of times the bus won't even show up. The bus shutsdown too early. 8:30 p.m. is not a good time to cut the route. At least give people 11:00 p.m. for the last bus. The only thing good I can say about this facility is that it has a couple of respectful employees. That's it.
Dumb bus system sucks. The only thing that gives the service any kind of redemption is the fact that a very few of the bus drivers are very very nice. They won't allow loud profanity and loud music on this bus. If they cannot hear it and you address the issue to them they will make it stop. However this transit system is one of the worst in the country that I have ever seen. They close around 8 in the evening the buses take an hour and 20 minutes to make a round-trip. I am from a city of the same size and their bus service runs until 12 midnight. I have left several items on the bus by mistake and I must say three times my items were returned. However I want left a large container of clothes detergent and someone kept that, LOL. What can I say at least someone turned the wallet in.
