Definitely lives up to the hype!! While it's probably not my number one favorite burger in the city, it's definitely up there. If you get a burger you have to get the thick cut millionaires bacon and an egg on top- makes it the perfect burger! Wait times for this place are very long though and they do not take reservations. I'd recommend coming here during the weekday or something because while this burger is delicious I don't know if it's worth a 1 or even 2 hours wait.
This place is hyped for the world's best burger. We got lucky with no wait for a table for 4 on a weekday around 130pm. Like others got the single cheeseburger (double patties) with an egg and bacon. To be honest, it's good but not sure if it's the burger I have had. Fries are good.

Service great with good recommendations ask for JENNY, she is the BEST!! She answered all my questions, had awesome recommendations, a was supper sweet an helpful!! Food came out hot, fresh an timely!! will definitely come back the next I I’m Chicago!! I recommend the hot honey chicken wings good crispy breading melts in your mouth, bone marrow is an also recommendation and you can’t go wrong with the burgers!! ✨????????????
I was told I had to stop by before I left Chicago, and I’m so glad I did! I was expecting a great burger, but I also got an awesome show. The way the team worked in unison to pump out the food on its own was exhilarating, let alone the smells, the sounds, and the taste! I had the waiter order my food for me, and got a cheeseburger with thick cut bacon and an egg on top and an order of fries. The combination worked perfectly, but let’s not kid ourselves, the bacon stole the show! The love and attention they put into the bacon was nothing less than magical. While I was sitting next that chef that was expediting, I heard him call out a Marrow plate with a side of bacon! Ok… whoever ordered that knew what they were doing! For such a small place, I get the long wait, but the overall experience of watching and smelling the open kitchen at work was worth every moment. Keep killing it!
The restaurant had a lively atmosphere due to the loud music, but it was a bit too much for my taste. The meat quality was decent, although it was too salty for my liking.
As for the much-hyped burger, it was quite mediocre and didn't live up to its reputation. Personally, I prefer the taste of Big Mac sauce or Shake Shack over what was offered here.
We were lucky to visit when there was no line, and I wouldn't recommend waiting for a table given the quality of food.
Additionally, I noticed the cook handling food and meat without gloves, which raised concerns about their hygiene standards.

If you're ever in Chicago, you have to go here. The hype is real. Best cheeseburger I have ever had. Adding bacon and egg is a must. The bacon is delicious and flavorful. Additionally, the bacon is thickly chopped, adding to its texture. The yolk of the egg can also be used as a sauce by covering the patties.

Well worth the wait! Small restaurant w a bang, the Cheval burger and bone marrow was a hit! Plenty of drinks on tap and you can watch them make your burgers if you sit at the bar! Def will be back when in Chi-Town!
