This is a business that is trust worthy, has awesome communication and does great work, they had my chevelle for a rear tail shaft seal and Ginny took Bette care for my car than I could ever wish for, she kept it on the lift covered up the whole time , When I got it back I didn’t even need to reclean it, her communication was awesome, called , text, sent pics when needed, updated me more than enough that I never had to wonder what was going on, when we ran into a issue with my drive shaft she made calls and resolved it for me before I even knew there was a issue. This is the place to go and have great service and work !! Ask for Ginny

When overdrive went out suddenly on our big van, I did a lot of research online. After seeing good reviews for ATM, I took it to them. Ginny is very knowledgeable and was aware of all the upgrades that are possible on my model. She has a sense of humor and was up front on my options and their cost. Once the diagnosis was made, it took just a day to get it back. Would definitely recommend this business. They have been doing this for many years and stand behind their work.
I had my manual transmission fail on me on a Mon afternoon - clutch pedal stayed right in the floor. I was able to limp it to ATM right before closing. They had it diagnosed the next day, ordered parts and I had my car by Friday. When there was a question of a strange noise later on, they brought it in and covered 100%of the parts/labor under warranty with no questions asked. They are not a discount shop, but very professional and will get the job done right for a reasonable price.
I was on vacation with my family when my engine started overheating. ATM fit me into their busy schedule & took great care of me.
They even followed up with me to make sure my family made it home safely.

ATM transmission is great! They were recommended to me when I first moved to the area and encountered a transmission issue with my jeep. The customer service was great and quality of work was even better than I had hoped for. I found a trusted group of mechanics who do more than just transmissions. Now I go to them with all my my car repairs, periodic maintenance, etc. and know that my car will get excellent service at a fair price. I couldn't recommend them more highly!

After my 7 series BMW sat @ another garage in So Md for a month (pending a transmission repair); I had it towed to ATM transmissions, who's team of expert technicians was able to diagnose and fix my car's transmission in less than 4 days; even with parts needing to be ordered and shipped from BMW ( very impressive ).
The owner was extremely nice & pleasant to deal with . She also kept me informed during the entire process (parts required , estimated time of repair & cost).
They also work on miscellaneous car issues ( not just transmissions) , so I will be taking my other vehicles there as well.
I'm just glad I've finally found an honest & creditable auto repair shop in So. MD.
We discovered ATM a few years ago when a friend recommended I take my car there. They were able to identify the issues and fix them, whereas other area mechanics could not. My husband's Jeep Wrangler had some issues that no one could figure out and they fixed those as well. ATM has since been our go-to spot for any work on our vehicles. They have great mechanics who are very knowledgeable and able to identify issues other places can't. Ginny and Ellen are awesome as well! We've been to many mechanics in St. Mary's County and ATM is the absolute best!
