We are so happy we found this place. It's a great family run business and the owner is a lovely and kind man who let us in with 40mins to closing time.
It's a small but varied menu, which we rate as often find restaurants with massive menus subpar.
The food is exceptional quality and presentation (apologies for snapping main dishes pics after mixing, we started digging in too quick!).
We had dumplings and scampi for starters and two of the lamb stew pots for mains. We don't eat lamb often as it can be too strong a flavour or a bit chewy. This lamb was just incredible!
Prices are also very reasonable at about €30-40 per person for starter and main + drinks.
We would love to come back to try more of the food.
If you're in the area and remotely curious about the Afghan cuisine you'd do very well to give this place a visit, trust us!
Great food and vegitarian options. Place is big and can accomidate large groups. Nice experience if you want to Taste afgan cuisine, the owner is very helpfull with explaining the menu and suggestions.
Incredible food and the owner and his wife are absolutely lovely. They made us little olive sides as well and it was delicious. Plus it didn't even take much time in less than 20 minutes the food was on the table already!!! Really recommend ????

Being from Afghanistan, I can be very critical of Afghanistani restaurants in the west and I have been to Afghanistani restaurants in many different countries. This restaurant is THE best Afghanistani restaurant I have been.
I ordered Ashak, Badenjan and Rosh Kebab. They were really the best I had.
The restaurant owner is one of the nicest person I’ve met. The restaurant decor is beautiful and the service is top notch.
I highly recommend everyone to try this place!

I happened upon this restaurant while I was in Oostende for a few days in early Sept 2023. Everything about this experience was OUTSTANDING. The food, deliciously prepared. The service, excellent. When I saw that the menu was only in Flemish I asked for an English menu. The server (who I’m pretty sure was the owner) told me that he did not have an English menu but he then took the time to describe the entire menu to me, in English, each individual item. You can’t get better service than that! He was extremely helpful and gave me suggestions for dessert too. I would love to return to Oostende again someday and this is the first place I will visit for dinner.
