I truly enjoyed this restaurant. The service was great as well as the food. It is tiny and not loud like other Portuguese restaurants I have visited over by Newark. I do believe the prices are right based on the quality of the food.
Average price per person is between $30-$50.
We had such a great time at Assado Portuguese Steakhouse. The Atmosphere/Service and the decor was outstanding, and I love the layout and the spacing of the tables. I hate to feel that people are on top of you. The ribeye that I ordered had really good flavor, but it was a little gamey, more so than what I am used to. All in all, it was 4.8 stars ???? ???? ✨️ ????
Celebrated my daughter's 14th birthday dinner with 15 people. Service was great and good was tasty! This is our go to Portuguese spot!
The service, the food, the atmosphere- TOP TIER. What a wonderful experience and we cannot wait to go back. Had the opportunity to speak with the owners as well and they are so sweet. Waitress Emily is AMAZING and we can’t wait to go back and visit her and the staff. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation to visit this amazing establishment.

Our food was great. We love Portuguese food so this place didn't disappoint. Jhonny, our waiter, was so funny and had an awesome personality. We would request him the next time we come back. Will be back!
Everything about this place stay away. You’re better off going down neck where the service is 10 times faster and the staff doesn’t discriminate you. We had a 7:00 reservation and the woman at the front desk had the rudest attitude possible. they obviously overbooked and have “favorites” when it comes to customers. The staff and service was beyond disappointing. Waiting 45 minutes to be told “our table is being cleared”. It’s over priced steakhouse food that you can get anywhere else for way better down in Newark or the Oranges. Dont waste your time
We enjoyed a lovely lunch, the ambiance is pleasing with smooth jazz and fresh decor. The food is delicious and plentiful. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable. We enjoyed very much. The flan is yummy! Only thing missing for me was a skirt steak choice.
