Best WLM Reviews
My recent visit to this Applebee’s was a complete disaster. The service was rude, and there was a lot of mud in the bottom of my salad. My husband’s salad contained dirt and pebbles. He specifically asked for no tomatoes but only received lettuce and a sprinkle of cheese, with no croutons or carrots. I ordered my salad with everything on it, but it had mud at the bottom. I got a mouthful of mud and pebbles, causing me to immediately wipe my mouth with napkins and walk to the bathroom to rinse my mouth out, where I got sick.
When my husband informed the manager, she took the plate with the muddy lettuce but left the rest of the muddy salad on our table. She didn’t offer me another salad, not that I wanted one at that point. I was completely grossed out. This seemed deliberate, as the top of my salad was fine, but the bottom was full of mud. We were polite and didn't deserve such treatment.
After the manager and waitress found out about the mud in my salad bowl, they kept avoiding our table. I told my husband that I didn’t want to eat anything and just wanted to leave. He approached the manager again since she was ignoring us and told her we didn’t want to eat their food and wanted to leave. She said she would only take the salad off the bill, even though we didn’t eat any of the food. My husband had a soda and one bite of fries, and he did eat his salad despite the dirt and pebbles, but he didn’t have a salad full of mud.
We were willing to pay for what we consumed, but she was charging us for everything except the muddy salad she never offered to replace. The manager was very rude and dismissive, making rude remarks as if we had done something to our food deliberately. This experience was horrible. After waiting 20 minutes for the manager to bring the bill, she never came, so we walked out and emailed corporate.
Neither my husband nor I will be going back to this Applebee’s. The experience was uncalled for, unsanitary, and unacceptable. There was no reason to put mud at the bottom of my salad!!! I would give zero stars but can't. This experience doesn't even deserve one star. ???? Mud/ dirt contains bacteria, parasites, microorganisms, and pesticides. So... I could have been legitimately poisoned. ????????????☠️
Ordered delivery with very specific instructions to remove tomatoes and cucumbers from my salads, and for the steak to be medium rare (by the time it would arrive it would have cooked more in it's resting state making it more like a medium) got 2 salads with TONS of tomatoes and cucumbers and had to immediately toss them. Couldn't even pick them out. I have a severe (literally life threatening) allergy to both of these among other fruits and veggies. The steak was leather. I couldn't even cut it with a bandsaw. The blonde I ordered had melted ice cream which was okay tbh, but the other toppings for it were missing.
Quite literally, it is like the cooks and delivery packer went out of their way to screw it up ON PURPOSE and try to kill me via a poisonous chemical found in some natural foods.
Worst part, I complained, got some lady who emailed me, rhen completely ghosted me after that. No replies no more communication...nothing. just air.
I would avoid this Applebee's like the plague if you have any food allergies or issues. They WILL screw it up and possibly hurt you.
Had Ashley as my server. She was amazing. Above and beyond in service, personable, friendly and has a sense of humor.
I came twice before during the week... first time was terrible (food), second time was good. Bryce was my server on the second visit.
They certainly redeemed the first visit tonight.
This is what the parmesan boneless chicken looks like. I think not. I'm still giving 5 start because Kiki was so nice. And she does not make the food.
They have the perfect peach singeria. Over the years the staff has gotten better nice place to go now.
I'm giving the food here the benefit of the doubt because I have eaten in here in the past. Right now I'm waiting for a to go order I placed 45 minutes ago. They said it would be about 20 minutes. They wouldn't let me set at the bar and wait unless I was going to order. I can see 10 empty seats at the bar. The hostess just snapped at a customer for complaining about the wait. Sorry but tonight.. No! Finally got our food only to find out it was setting on a shelf all the time.
Got home and it was stone cold. Talked threw it out and called the mgr. Will update this review tomorrow if she keeps her word
This was an okay time! There honestly isn't much I can say about this place; it was pretty busy since we went around lunchtime, though we were seated as soon as we walked in. The environment was pretty cozy, pretty bar, lovely Applebee's decor, the staff was very nice and light-hearted. Our waiter was always checking in with us to make sure we were doing okay, which I appreciated. The food was pretty good; we had gotten this cheese dip and it was really good, but the ratio of chip to dip was off -- we had like still half our dip left (In retrospect, I should have had them ask to take that dip to-go)! I had ordered their chicken penne, and although it was pretty okay, I was not a fan of the seasoning, and it could have used more salt. Also wasn't a fan of the waiting times between getting my appetizer or my appetizer. Overall, this is the kinda place I'd visit a couple of times a year to try something different, and that's all.
Food was good, done quickly and reasonably priced.
