Today I had lunch alone and I was serviced by the AMAZING STAFF AT THE BAR/ BAR TENDER.???? He was so amazing! Mr. Christian will be my go to whenever I come back on his shift! Allowing me to feel so comfortable during my experience, as he was so present with me. I really felt like a valued customer! I did not feel rushed nor like he just wanted to take my order and go on about his business and get back to work! He literally took his time to help me understand the menu and understand exactly what I was ordering along with giving me options of what would better suit my tastebuds! My food ???? was amazing, my drink ???? was amazing, his customer service was amazing. ???? If I could give 10 stars ✨ I would lol. I will definitely be back and I hope it is always on his shift!!! ????
????I am so glad that I got Chicken Quesadilla. It was crispy, warm and soft enough. Just perfectly cooked right.
????Bone in BBQ chicken wings were tasted good.
????Chicken Alfredo was good too. But at the end of the meal, I realized that there was couple pieces chicken were not cooked well done.????

My server was nice and professional.
Even there were couple problems with the meal. I am still happy with the experience.
Service was good, the place was shiny clean, but none of that makes up for the fact that I had the worst meal I've ever had, here. It was the 4-cheese Mac and cheese with chicken tenders. I thought I was just being picky, so I sent it with my mom for lunch the next day, and she also told me that, no competition, that was the worst pasta she'd ever eaten. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
I thought it was a lie when I heard all the food there is microwaved but now I believe. Worst food ever steak sucked broccoli was hard as a rock, only thing that was half way decent was the salad and potatoes. My husband got sick that night he must of ate a spoiled cheeseburger. Don't waste your hard earned money on this rotten place
So UPSET AND ANGRY WITH THIS PLACE. Came to muncie for a week long business trip. we decided to eat here. I got the chicken broccoli Alfredo meal. Someone needs to check there dates on there food! I got awful food poisoning and been in my bathroom since 7pm until just a little ago, 4am. Worst night of my life. I'm glad I get to work all week feeling like this. Thanks
I am writing this one-star review to express my extreme disappointment at my experience at Applebee's.
Firstly, I must mention that the restaurant was full of basic white people, which made for a very uncomfortable dining experience. The server was also extremely rude to me and even went as far as lying about the restaurant's menu.
On top of that, the server let out a big fat burp while serving me, which was completely unprofessional and absolutely disgusting. I was so shocked and embarrassed that I almost lost my appetite for the rest of my meal.
I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone, as my experience was absolutely horrendous. I certainly will never be returning to Applebee's again, and I advise others to steer clear of this terrible establishment.
Truth be told I have not been to an Applebee's in probably over 5 years. The chain has taken a nosedive in my view. Just look at their review which typically are sub 3. Do not get me wrong, I love their commercials. But not every location is low performing based on my visit to the Muncie, IN store.
The signage is excellent off of McGalliard Rd. There are a few entry ways into the lot. My lunch visit started with easy to find parking in Northwest Plaza and a debris free lot. Also the walk up was clear of trash.
A friend and I were immediately greeted and seated in a booth. Not a big lunch crowd, but they had business. My table as well as the adjacent area was clean.
Our friendly female waitress took drink orders and provided menus. My friend immediately decided on their special Bourbon burger, I chose the chicken sandwich. I slipped off to wash my hands and the restroom was spic and span with proper supplies.
Both plates hit the table in around 20 minutes. Everything was correct and hot. My chicken sandwich with bacon was good, fries tasty. My friend loved his burger and raved! We did get a check in and refill on drinks.
Our check was presented in a timely manner and cashed out quickly. Total time was around 50 minutes. That was perfect timing around a planned one hour lunch.
I may have to give Applebee's a try again, but since I was out of town it will not be the Muncie location. This visit caught me off guard in a good way. I would recommend.
We basically had a nice visit here today. Our server was very good, very professional. Whoever was cooking today dropped the ball though. Normally I am very fond of the food here, but not today. Most of our dishes were really overcooked. This will not stop me from coming back though. I love Applebee's and everyone is entitled to a bad day now and then. I just hope that when we return it is on a good day. See you soon!
