First time back to Appetites on Main since the renovations. The restaurant and atmosphere are better than ever! Beer selection is great along with a bevy of wines and cocktails. Food came out quick and was delicious. Could use touch more seasoning but that’s no big deal. Perfect spot for March Madness coming up!
We had dinner twice there and both times the servers were great, the food was good. It is a little loud in there but I guess it is part of the atmosphere.
Not so happy! Didn't like all the hidden costs! When I ordered what was on the menu, they up- charge me even for condiments. $7 dollar up charge for a simple average martini. They just need to be upfront and stop taking advantage of customers. I'm new to the area and looking for good honest restaurants to enjoy. I have found several but don't think this is making the list. Better options I've found elsewhere! A pity! Oh well, You live and learn!.
Not sure what happened this past Friday with the sweet chili 24 wings I ordered for my family. The wings were so salty and the chili sauce was just dropped on top and the wings drowned in the sauce. We had to wipe some of the sauce off the wings but my husband didn't eat it cause the wings were too salty. This was not the first time I ordered the wings. See, my son came home from college and I wanted him to try these yummy wings for the first time but it was a big disappointment. I gave 4 stars for the service because Lexi is a great server. My family and I love this place but after the salty wings...not so sure.
Great place to stop for whatever you are hungry for. Love that they are open late and have late kitchen hours.
Staff is very friendly. Inside and outside patio seating. Great way to spend an afternoon eating short rib and firecracker shrimp tacos in the sunshine.
Garlic Bread Bacon Cheesesteak, Waffle Fries or Tater Tots with Old Bay Seasoning are delicious. Lighter option - try the Greek salad.
Be sure to add their app for online ordering. Often receive discount emails for takeout.
Today was our first time trying Appetites On Main. I looked through the reviews to see what was mentioned the most and cheesesteaks came up. I ordered the garlic bread cheesesteak with fried onions and extra American cheese. The food came out hot. I tasted no garlic from the “garlic bread”, my fried onions were cut so thick they we’re basically raw. The meat and cheese was barely there, along with the taste. Even though I was charged for extra cheese I didn’t receive it. Our waitress wasn’t very attentive at all. Both our glasses sat empty during our meal, while she stood at the register talking. Only when she came to the table to ask if we wanted dessert, she asked if we wanted a refill. I can understand if you’re busy missing people’s refills but when you’re standing around, that’s a problem. I gave it 3 stars because my sister liked her wrap other than the chewy/raw piece of bacon she pulled from it.
My husband and I moved to Exton at the beginning of July & have since come here three times & ordered delivery once.
The atmosphere is pretty great & there is a space for everyone. Inside was really nice during the evening, but outside is a bit better during day-time sports games if you’re there for a peaceful meal. However, the environment is so exciting if you’re there for the game, so it works for anyone regardless of what mood you’re in.
The staff is so kind & helpful, they always have great opinions on the menu and we haven’t been disappointed by their advice yet.
The food has been absolutely fantastic & the drinks have been just as good. We have tried so much of their menu, enjoyed *everything,* and still have so much more to go.
This is great for date night or a dinner out with friends because there are options for everyone.
The buffalo chicken sliders are mouth wateringly delicious & the firecracker shrimp tacos are high up there as well. I’ve gotten the pretzel bites with cheese dip almost every time I’ve ordered & have no regrets. The portion is larger than you’d expect for the price which is awesome & I always have enough to share.
10/10 recommend this place!!
Had a great time here with my son and nephew in laws. It was the perfect place to go after two hours of pickle ball because the food and drink selection is so huge and the staff was fantastic and attentive. No long waits but that may be the time of day we went. Greatly enjoyed our visit and will be back.
