I took my parents and daughter here for lunch, and we had a lovely time! I had the bacon burger with egg and fries, Lily has the steak (without Au jus) with fries, and my parents had the hot beef with mashed potatoes and a cup of chicken noodle soup. The food was great, and our server Ashley was awesome! She made us feel really welcome. And thank you to the server who told us about the desert nachos! They were delicious! And I can’t forget about the saganaki we had as an appetizer. I’d wanted to try it for a couple years, and I was so glad that I finally got to. It’s delicious!!
Our party of 11 didn't have to wait to be seated. A welcomed surprise on a Saturday night. Our waitress was friendly & efficient. The food arrived within adequate time & everyone enjoyed their meal. Definitely recommend...check 'em out!
I ordered a slim jim & onion rings. I pd 18.04 plus tip I pd $20 for a sandwich that I've seen come out of a vending machine that look better. Beautiful refinished restaurant. I didn't appreciate the Christian music playing at a decent volume, not Amy Grant type, hallelujah hallelujah type Christian music? The table had not been wiped off it had salt all over it, which if it wasnt for the salt i wouldn'thave know it hadn't been wiped!!! There where 3 people in there @140pm.
I ask staff about sandwich & was told 4oz of meat on the sandwich. Way To expensive for a $10 sandwich & very few onion rings for $7.
Very disappointing, I can't suggest this place for anyone. You want a slim jim go to Big E's or Big Boy. (The picture is of 1/2 of sandwich & order of onion rings I ate 3)
Servers are always kind and food always comes out hot and how we ordered it. Order the meta fries and salad, keep it balanced ???? both are amazing! We have brought a huge table in when they were busy and the owner came out and helped the girls, I thought that was great, you don't see that much. Keep up the good work guys!
Great homestyle cooking at a fair price. Service is always fast and friendly! Definitely recommend for some good eats and drinks
The waitress was very helpful in making food suggestions.. My only complaint was the Sourdough toast was dry and not enough butter was applied to it. No butter was available at the table. Otherwise, I would suggest to my friends to try the corned beef hash and eggs breakfast.
So very sad . This place has great service , and is a lovely remodeled space. I’ve had the Walleye and the fish sandwich, which were perfect. This time I ordered the Balsamic Salmon. It was overcooked to the point where it was crispy on the exterior, & dry as a bone on the inside. I returned it. The chef said they would not remake it. So I left hungry. Paid 1/2 price meaning $11 for a tiny cup of average Cole slaw and the thinnest pea soup I’ve seen in all my 54 years. I can’t be bothered to come back to a restaurant that won’t stand by their product. Shame I really had liked this place and went every other month.
Been a couple of times for breakfast and dinner. Everyone was happy with their food on all visits. Presentation isn’t anything fancy, but that’s not what this is. Staff has been super friendly every time which goes a long way for me. I’ve gotten a very “welcome to our kitchen” sort of feel. First time I think the owners mom was the hostess; that kind of place.
