I love Antojitios and been coming here since before I could walk. I grew up in Highland Park and I'm so happy this is one of the last few gems that exist before the neighborhood changed. Parking sucks on Saturdays because of the lame flee market next to the parking lot but I usually avoid parking by Figueroa since I enjoy walking. Food is always what I expect and the sandwiches taste as good as the first time I took a bite when I was a kid. Small seating area but I know a lot of people that order to go.
A highland park institution. I really wanna try the Pambazo, looks awesome.

The food is good. It is not to Expensive. The lady that owns the place always looks mad and she talks like she really doesn’t want to talk to anyone.
They make great food with the right amount of seasoning to want to go back instead of making it at home. For example they make a Mexican torta called Panvaso it's a piece of bread dipped in really mild red sauce stuffed with potato chorizo lettuce sour cream and queso fresco.
The food here is always great! You can always count on the same taste, quality and customer service!
