I decided to try Anthony's due to so many people recommending it on next door. The pictures of the pizza looked great.
However when we received it, the crust was hard and dry like cardboard. It was also cold even though I paid for express delivery. It's only 4 miles from my house. I can't blame that on the restaurant though.
Extremely disappointed. I've been on a hunt for good NY pizza and 10/10 this is definitely not it. NY pizza should fold in half without hearing the crust crunch and with little pieces of the crust breaking off.
I am so sick of this I am writing a review. I cannot count how many times this continues to happen. Doesn’t matter who’s working… they all can’t wrap their mind around wings that doesn’t have disgusting ranch OR blue cheese on the side. I have tried to understand but it’s like arguing with stupid… you can’t.
My exact order… “2 x12 bone in wings, 1st one is bbq and second one is 1/2 bbq 1/2 buffalo.”
“Do you want ranch or blue cheese?”
“Neither. I want an extra side of BBQ instead of ranch.”

Get my order and Hey! What do you know? The extra side of BBQ was made DRY for the 10th time I’ve gone to this location.
Mind blowing. If I wanted dry wings or NO SAUCE on the wings… I would have said it. Period.
Luckily the other Anthony’s in Denver is now closer to me since we moved, enough is enough
Delivery was delayed as the manager told me he was sorry but his driver was slow and had an attitude. The manager needed to be retrained. They forgot my salad dressing. When I call he seemed irritated with some uncomfortable silence and asked me what I wanted them to do?! I paid for the dressing and would like if you can deliver the rest of my order. The first dressing was in a larger cup than the one that was redelivered. I guess I was being punished that I wanted my complete order I paid for. Completely unprofessional!
Just ordered pick up before I sign the receipt and tip I wanted to see the pie to make sure toppings are right girl at the front kept insisting I sign and tip before I see the pizza so I sign and tip. Tipped 15 percent should have not tipped at all. No patience then owner asked what was wrong I explained to him that she kept rushing me on paying before i even see the product. They have made pizzas wrong before. He told me.its no big deal. My business to u isn't a big deal then. Good luck
Just moved to the area from Arizona. The pictures of the pizza and the menu itself peaked our interest. Our Neapolitan pie was so simple and delicious. Exactly what we wanted. We’re excited to explore all the menu options!
Oh. By the way. We picked up our pizza, “tried it” in the parking lot, and proceeded to eat the whole thing before even going home.
Their quality has gone way down in the last several years. Way overpriced. Went today and was told my Caesar salad couldn’t come out first before my slice. Salad came in a small bowl not mixed. Slice was not well done as I had asked. Lil Riccis it is from now on.
Great pizza! Just moved here and have been trying all the NY style places around. This has been my favorite so far. Dough/crust has a good flavor, sauce and cheese spot on for NY style. Will definitely be back, especially since this place is less than 2 miles away from my apartment lol.
Bit into a metal staple when eating my pizza. Manager (Jenaya) mentioned she couldn't give me a refund because it came from door dash, but I didn't want one. Least of my worries at that point, but she did say she would try to keep the stapler away from the food in the back. Look, if you are in food service, please consider using an alternate way to secure your deliveries (e.g., promo tape, etc.). For example, McDonald's and Mod Pizza use tape. It would reduce the risk of something small and dangerous like a staple from getting integrated into your food prep. Really liked Anthony's until now. Disappointing.
