Best WLM Reviews

Disappointing. Disgusting. The pizza had the consistency of gas station pizza. It was also undercooked. Our order was incorrect. We received 2 of the same pizza (the plain, cheaper one, of course...). Absolutely does not taste like a brick oven pizza.
Waste of money. $60 later, we're finding something else to eat.
We had a pepperoni and hot pepper Pizza which wasn't too bad. We also had a margarita Square Pizza I think it needed to be cooked a little longer. We also had a meatball that was actually pretty good. Overall I'd probably go back but not my favorite pizza. Had the pepperoni pizza which was pretty good. Pepperoni is still the best but we had their white pizza with basil and Ricotta and it was pretty good as well.
We were staying at a hotel nearby on our way home from Florida. We ordered a 16 inch pizza for pickup. Ingredients used are good but the pizza crust was not cooked. The outside looked cooked but the dough was raw inside. My understanding is that a coal fired oven is very hot. in my opinion the crust was too thick. They pre-cook the vegetables that go on the pizza likely because the pizza doesn't spend enough time in the oven to fully cook these...should be the same for the crust. Service was good. The restaurant itself looked good and was clean.
They definitely know how to cook pizza and the ingredients are super fresh. It just didn’t come together. I found the all the components individually to be good but the finished pizza was lackluster. Had to send the wings back bc they came out cold but when the second batch came out they were hot and good. Maybe I’ll give them another shot, I don’t know. It was just kind of, eh. I expected more, especially for the price. 2 pizza and 5 wings were $70 plus tip. Update…. Upon reading the review they requested my contact details info and availability which was promptly provided …. 4 days later and I’ve yet to hear from them. There’s better pizza out there, I suggest you go find it
Was expecting more from this restaurant but left somewhat disappointed. We waited 18 minutes just to get our order taken. The waitress walked past us several times. She apparently was the only waitress that evening. Pizza was ok but not enough sauce or cheese. Lemonade was great. Guess we will keep looking for a good pizza joint.
So, we just tried Anthony’s for the first time. What a big mistake that was. Let me give background. I’m from the New York area and I’m currently a Pittsburgh transplant. Your odds of finding really good New York style pizza in the Pittsburgh area is about as high as being able to rob Fort Knox without being noticed.
I’ve been here for about a year and have found a couple of passable places. While in Cranberry Pennsylvania, I noticed this place from the street that advertised coal fired Pizza. That got my attention because one of my favorite places in the world is Frank Pepe’s Pizza, from the New Haven area, which is also coal fired.
Longing for a really good pizza, I finally stumbled into Anthony’s. After my first bite of pizza, I actually choked up and got emotional. That’s how good this place is. That’s how good the pizza is.
In the middle of our dinner, I told my wife that I was going to give this place a terrible review. The reason for that is because whenever I give a glowing review to a place, I can never get back into it because it’s always so overcrowded due to the recommendation.
To be kind, I’m gonna give this place an extremely high and glowing review. The Pizza was first class. The pizza has a crispy coal fired crust and the toppings are first rate. So yes, I’m going to give a great review, but I really want you to stay away from this place and not go! I mean it!
I love the crisp burnt pizza and long finger hot peppers are plenty hot!
Great Mediterranean type salads and the baked wings are very good, nice bar too.
This was our third pizza delivery from Anthony's. The first was great. The second was awful. We wanted to give them another try. It seems the first really good pizza was the anomaly. This last pizza was over-baked (again) yet very soggy. Compare my pictures to any other pizza picture on their website. A browned crust is one thing. Burnt is quite another. We won't be ordering from Anthony's again.
