This place is a hidden gem! In a very rural location which adds to the charm. Not far from major highways if you’re in the area. They have many different animals to see and a bunch that you can hand feed. Thought it was a nice idea to add the feeding tubes for certain animals. Some animals were not in their enclosures due to the weather but there was plenty to see. Very affordable. Would go back again in a heartbeat!
Beautiful place!!! Not big, but very nice zoo. We were pleasantly surprised. The animals are in good conditions.
The child had the opportunity to touch and feed many animals. Additionally, we chose to feed the penguins.
We didn't fully understand how it would be, but it exceeded all our expectations. It was excellent! Not only the child was delighted, but also me and even our grandmother!!!! It was a very positive experience that we will remember for a long time.
We have been to many zoos and in San Diego and each one leaves different feelings and memories, but we will definitely remember this one for a long time!
Highly recommend! Suitable for any age.

Very nice, kids had a blast! Biggest down fall only one bathroom at the beginning of the park, out houses just are not my favorite. Most of the animals were out. That was nice. Absolutely loved feeding the giraffes. No penquins today. ???? Great day out with family! Loved seeing the baby animals.
Went with my daughter and her family. My grandson had the best time. Especially feeding the giraffes.
We went for an after Christmas stroll enjoying Animal Adventure's Jungle Bells while sipping on hot chocolate. They really put on a nice light display that is respectful to the animals. You're able to feed the goats, giraffes, camels, zebra and more. Lots of great family photo opportunities too.
A true hidden Gem tucked away in Harpursville NY. Clean Park, friendly staff and wonderful variety of Animals. Excellent value as well. Plan your visit, you will be glad you did.
Love Animal Adventure Park and Preserve! Nestled in picturesque lower New York state country side, this animal park is home to well-cared-for animals from giraffes that greet guests at their viewing deck to tigers that entertain with their pool-side antics. The park is enjoyable and quaint, which enables personable guest services. There are concessions offerings from cool treats to sandwiches...and shaded areas at which to enjoy them. Prices are comparable to other facilities. Free parking!
The drive-thru Preserve is a must-do. Fun, fun, fun! Animals from various parts of the world roam in a natural setting while you remain in the comfort of your vehicle. I suggest purchasing the feed bucket (or buckets), and trust me, the animals come to you. Prepare for laughter! Again, prices are comparable.
This was a fun place to spend a couple hours driving through the safari area. The animals certainly seem well cared for and content. We were told to stay in the car. It's a good thing because most of the animals were NOT shy! They come right up to the car, expecting to be fed snacks. In fact, one section felt like a gang because while one big Llama blocked the way, a whole bunch of others encircled the car expecting ALL the snacks! It's a miracle we saved some snacks for the zebra that are at the end of the road!
