Great place by the beach and pier. The server was the best we have ever had helping us. This makes a world of difference when you dine. Engaging, helpful eye contact with a smile. Not only when they give you the bill for the tip. The salad was awesome. My husbands coconut shrimp were delicious, too. Plus, we had oysters, too. We will be back with our friends.
Anglers is a bit older and dated on the inside. The parking lot leading to the entry is very dark and in need of lights for safety sake. The young lady was a good server. We started with the queso and chips which was comparable to ball park nachos. My wife and I had the blackened red fish which was good but small for the price. My daughter had the Chipotle grilled shrimp tacos which were good. My son had the fried chicken bacon and ranch sandwich which was huge. He said it was excellent. The dirty rice wasn't good but the Cajun black beans and rice were good. Overall an average dining experience.
The food and atmosphere are awesome! We really enjoyed our view of the ocean while eating. They also have an extensive drink selection and were very accommodating to my food allergies.
First time here at Ft Walton i came across Angler's Beachside Grill...that was a great find.
Excellent dinner...Crab claws, Calamari, Shrimp ???? PoBoy, Grilled Mahi sandwich, , Blackened Red Fish, Shrimp pasta.. loved it all.

Wonderful service, great atmosphere, awesome food! I got the choose yoir own fish, I chose the sea scallops, with the loaded creole sauce, and the creole black beans with the garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was amazing!
Wonderful place to refill and unwind after Gulfarium. Very cozy atmosphere during off-season. Service was wonderful, very attentive.
Beachy vibe as patio area stares straight at a gorgeous white sands beach. Big, well stock bar. Nick our server was awesome. Had the shrimp tacos and tres amigos plate. Both excellent! I would definitely recommend!
I got my dinner to go because I have socal anxiety but I had the grilled chicken, bacon ranch and I give it the 10 out of 10. I highly recommend getting it grilled not fried. They said 15 minutes wait time but got it in 7. Love that
