Best WLM Reviews

So glad we went here. Pizza and burgers were delicious. I didn't expect much from the outside, but it's nicely decorated and the owner was both knowledgeable and nice. We had a Hawaiian and a pepperoni pizza. Real mozzarella cheese. Would definitely eat here again.
One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten! We watched the Asian pizza chef (yes, Asian) make and bake the pizza. Great care was taken every step of the way. Once the pizza was cooked she remove the pan and put the pizza back in to crisp up the crust. She checked it several times until it was just right. OMG, this thing (house special) was freaking awesome. If you're in the area do yourself a favor, come here! The owner is fun to chat with, too.
Pretty good veggie pizza. They had just reopened and were getting everything set up when we went so they have probably ironed out the kinks but there were some issues with our order. After a long day of hiking this pizza was great.
(We ordered on the phone for pick up and then when we arrived on time the food was not ready and we had to tell them our order. There were many people in the restaurant waiting for their food so it seemed like they did not have their method down yet.)
I was in Millinocket for 2 days with my girlfriend and we stopped here for pizza after hiking. We got the pat's combo and an Italian hoagie. It was some of the best pizza we've ever had and the hoagie was really solid too. The next day we hiked Mount Katahdin and were so excited to get more after such a draining day. When we called to place an order we were informed that they had run out of dough. We were disappointed after hearing this but we still needed to eat so we decided to go to the competition Millinocket house Pizza (there is no competition). We had to endure one of the worst meals of my life. The pizza tasted like school cafeteria pizza and I also ordered an Italian hoagie. It was a disgrace of a sandwich. Who puts American cheese on an Italian hoagie?! If you're in Millinocket and want pizza, do yourself a favor and go to Angelo's.
I love this place--small, intimate with excellent, eclectic pizzas in a unique decor. The biz operates during the summer and should be a part of your visit to the Katahdin Region. Bill and crew are attentive and serve up exactly what you need from this sort of venue and great prices.
The pizza overall was really good, but the crust/dough was perfect. I was told that the dough is made fresh in the restaurant.
We were only passing through, but well worth a visit if you're in town.
Weird atmosphere and a curiously rude gentleman serving/ taking orders. Made all of us a bit uncomfortable. Food stank & so did he.
Great pizza. Not thin crust like Chicago style, but the crust was thicker with a crisp light bite. Melty mozzarella with clean flavor and lots of stretch. Other ingredients fresh tasting. Very small area for seating which was not a problem because many were doing takeout. At that,, place was full.. No delivery service. I did not expect great pizza in the area we were. Recommend it highly for take out or sitting.
