Best WLM Reviews
Convenient spot for either a quick bite, or chill by the bar, or a family meal. The restaurant size is decent and can fit a lot of customers, which is great especially when casino is busy.
The services was generally good, but never exceptional. Food were mostly delicious. And portions are decent.Ambience is on the dim side, not lively .

I’m giving 5 stars because everything I ordered was made to perfection and I thoroughly enjoyed each dish. I went with a group of 9 people, so I got to try more dishes than I would have otherwise.
Other reviews aren’t happy with service / ambiance. I think this is more of a casual dining experience. It’s not upscale and not white table cloth, so you really just bring your own vibes and enjoy the food. Service for my table of 9 was good. We didn’t have any issues. All food came out on time. Server was attentive and generally friendly. Ambiance feels like you’re in a casino to me. I wouldn’t recommend for a romantic date, but certainly a great spot to escape the casino floor for a bit and fuel up!
The classic Caesar salad was just that - classic and what you’d expect a Caesar salad to be. The marinated Parmesan was super addicting. After we completely devoured our first order, we ordered another! The burrata with peppers and onions was delish and a perfect bread topper. The whole branzino was perfectly cooked and tasted just the way I like with capers and a big squeeze of lemon. Yum! I also got to try the bucatini pasta with beef short rib, and omg it’s divine. Definitely the best pasta dish. The noodles were Al dente and helped carry a good amount of sauce and beef into each bite.
The octopus appetizer was good, but nothing to write home about. I had some and enjoyed it, but probably wouldn’t have ordered it myself. The lasagna was another dish I tried and wouldn’t ever order myself. It was just okay in my opinion. I prefer more tomato sauce in mine. Garlic bread was tasty but not soft enough for me. It was more cheesy than buttery and I prefer a soft, buttery garlic bread with a crunchy exterior.
For dessert, I ordered the panna cotta and a decaf americano. I thought the panna cotta was a bit too creamy, but it was still delicious and topped with some blueberries and berry sauce. I really enjoyed it, and even though I was completely stuffed, it was still light enough to finish. Although, it is quite a large portion and definitely shareable for 2-3 people.
I wish I took more photos, but I was starving! Camera didn’t eat first this time ????
I’ve only been here twice. One time for Valentine’s Day a few years ago and casually one weeknight and it was delicious both times. The pasta is always yummy. ????
☆☆☆ Angelines were okay, I read reviews before booking reservations that were overrated, to say the least. The service really impacts the mood in dining out. There is a lack of attention and a verbal tone if you're a table of two compared to a table of four. After being ignored, due to patrons that arrived after us, being anxiously serviced, by our waiter. It appeared that he sent his coworker to wait on the smaller tables. The food was sub-par see pic's. Sorry, I will not recommend Angelines to my friends and family.
Been coming here since opening. Always good food & wine. Love the rustic decor, feels like a movie scene with De Niro in Casino.
The grilled branzino is superb. Charred octopus fresh with flavorful red sauce. Let’s not forget the linguine with white clam sauce, excellent.
Paired with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Seafood night is absolutely divine. ????????
This was our first visit to Angeline although we have heard about it for several months before our visit. Aside from having to wait to be seated for our reserved table, everything else was spot on. The wait staff was exceptional and the food was above the expectations we had for a casino restaurant. We, a party of four, are Italian Americans and tend to be overly critical of any Italian food that our mothers didn’t prepare. The meals here were just terrific and plentiful. Good menu with something for everyone and an extensive wine list albeit they only had one rose. Lasagna was some of the best particularly if you like a lot of meat in the dish. Overall it was a fine dining experience. Probably not for kids snd the prices were a little out of line but the overall experience was very good. We give it four and one half clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.
UPDATED: The feedback below is from 4 years ago when Angeline had just opened. We finally made it back tonight for a birthday celebration. Everything was fantastic. The service, the food, the seating….everything. I can’t say enough good things. I even tried the meatballs again and they were terrific. Complex flavors, great texture, perfect size. Also tried the polenta. It was to die for!! One of the best I have ever had. The tortellini with sweet corn was very unusual and relatively light. Many great desserts but please try the pistachio ice cream. I could have eaten a gallon of that!!
Fairly disappointed in this restaurant. Menu is very traditional Italian cuisine. I was expecting some interesting takes on old standards and instead was served old standards done reasonably well but at exorbitant prices. Other reviews raved about Momma's meatballs and for $27 for four medium sized balls, I would expect them to be among the best I have had. Instead I found them to be fairly pedestrian. Service was good. Decor was fine but nothing memorable. I have been waiting a long time to eat Michael Symon food since I have always considered him the best Iron Chef. This does not represent him well.
The Borgata has many restaurants choices when you stay there and sometimes it's downright hard to choose. From Japanese food, fine steaks, gourmet burgers, or Italian food, you really can't go wrong in any of the places. This review is for Angeline's, one of our favorites.
We eat here everytime we stay at the Borgata Hotel in Atlantic City. The atmosphere is great, the service is on point, and the food is ALWAYS impeccable. Reservations are recommended of course but usually during the week, they can usually fit you in with little wait if any.
When we arrived, there are many different areas to sit. Cozy little corner booths where you can sit close, bar tops to easier access, or larger tables for groups. The decor is beautiful and elegant in there but not overly stuff or too formal. You don't have to wear a coat and tie if you don't want to, I've seen others wear shorts and polos just fine.
The servers are always very attentive and never disappoint. Ask about house specials, sometimes they have them. We aren't big drinkers but from what I noticed, the drinks others were served look good. We are foodies and we really appreciate the fine recipes they serve there. Their lasagna is better than any I have ever had, anywhere in the US so far, seriously. We get that every time and I added a picture this time. Also, we tried the lobster fritta this go around, but it must have been frozen too long, as it was a bit chewy and I didn't care for it at all. Otherwise, the meal was splendid and we will definitely go back, as always.
