Driving through, looking for a spot for lunch after a hard weekend in the woods. Superb food (beer battered fries are bomb), great service, and an old school side of the road biker bar vibe. Will stop in again if I’m the area
Fun local place. It looked like this is where the locals go, they were hanging out and enjoying each other's company along with food. I had the spaghetti special, it was really good, my husband had the burger, he also thought it was delicious. Great service, friendly and helpful.
The service is very nice supportive in time efficient the food there is amazing the drinks are even more amazing the anchor inn has been a great experience every time I go there.
If you are passing through this is a must stop for a bite to eat. Super friendly and the food is delicious. If you are hungry grab the large burger, it’s a mouth full and so good!

Small Place but the Food Packed a Great Punch, out of 6 of us, Not One Complaint about anything we Ordered. Amazing Food...Well Worth Checking it out!
On our High Pointers adventure we caught the sunset at Mount Davis and then came upon this restaurant. It looks sketchy when you first walk in but then you seat yourself in the dining area (not the.bar) and you see all the work they put into a remodel. I had the chicken dinner (which it turns out is not chicken tenders but instead a breast, a wing, a thigh, and a drumstick). It was amazing! Not greasy at all. Good and crispy and light (great trick for fried chicken). My husband got the burger. Omg. So so so good. Not overcooked at all. And HUGE. We shared the delicious fries and side salad (skipped the weird pink pickled egg).our server was youngest girl there. It did great. All servers checked in on us. If for some weird reason we were ever in this area again this is where we will eat.
