This place has had my daughter car almost 2months, just to put in an transmission. We paid $2000 up front and the car still isn’t fix and I actually don’t think they’ve even touched it. He told me initially the car would be fixed by the end of the week, now I’m calling every Friday just him to tell me the last four Friday’s that they’re still programming the computer. Now he says something about electrical problems but nothing electrical was wrong when we drove the car to them and he says they can’t spend all day on one car but took my money and guaranteed me we would have it in a couple of days. This is not professional and sure in hell not good business.
Husband went to put a transmission stick on an older Chevy truck he owns. Transmission stick was not properly put on. He paid over 200 to Amison for work that wasn't done properly. He kept leaking transmission fluid only to find out the stick was not properly put on and secure. Please people do not go here for anything service. They kept the vehicle for over a week then half did the work they charged for.
Will never bring my truck back here. Had a transmission rebuilt from a 2000 Ford F150 4x4. Was rebuilt I put the transmission in. Started driving it to work and I had to take it back home. Took transmission back Amison repaired it. Now the truck doesn't even have 10,000 miles on the transmission and I have to have it rebuilt again. It has not be right since.
My car was making a slight noise, I could still drive it hours, I just wanted to be sure it wasn’t anything serious. I went to pep boys and they were just saying it could be my transgear but I should go to a transmission shop, they referred me here. WORST MISTAKE, they took my car for a week. We came back and they haven’t even checked my car, so we left it for one more day and came back to my car not even able to move out the parking lot. I drove my car there perfectly fine then a week later it can’t even move anymore. They damaged my car and tried to charge me almost 2k to get the damage they made fixed. DONT GO HERE, they will damage your car and try to make you pay for it. I got my car towed to another shop & had to pay extra because they said it looks like my car was tampered with. It’s so SAD, this isn’t a business, it’s a rip off.
Reply: you guys see these reviews, nobody is pleased. If you don’t believe me, believe everyone else. I know what condition my car was in and it wasn’t bad until they messed with it. No matter what they said. They touched my car and it wasn’t drivable after that.
If I could give ZERO STARS I would. They terrible with communication. They give you the run around. And when I confronted the man about LYING he didn’t have anything to say. And from the other reviews I should’ve never took my car up there. My car has been sitting up there for two days and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has been done to it.
I had a transmission issue. I needed to get it addressed immediately. I remember seeing his business numerous times but never thought to check to see if he could help me at a reasonable price. So i just stopped by and asked him could he help me. He said sure, bring your car in. He fixed me problem for $125.00, then let my car stay on his lot for a week and didn't charge me extra. I'm not going to no other shop from this day forward. He's the bomb!!!
These people are very helpful and understand everyone needs and they make sure they take good care of you so if anything I’d your needing a transmission then this is the place to definitely go #1 PICK
One Saturday late afternoon while traveling from Oklahoma for a wedding, our transmission went out on a busy highway in Birmingham, it was pouring rain. We were relived to even find a shop open. Paul called us a tow truck and waited for our vehicle to be delivered then called us later that night to say he looked at it and again the next morning to estimate when he could have it done. We were so thankful for the outstanding service!
