Best WLM Reviews

I have eaten Amicis several times, but this was my first dine in experience. I LOVE their food. It's always fresh, hot, and delicious. The meatballs are huge! I could only eat one, so I'm having the rest for dinner. My salad was super fresh and the croutons were to die for. I wanted to ask for more but didn't want to seem crazy lol. The service was great too. See you again soon!
Came in for brunch on a Sunday. Wanted to try somewhere different, as I had a friend visiting from out of town. Neither one of us had been here. I was stoked that there was no wait and there was a breakfast menu. I got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was fantastic. The waffle probably would've been too, but I should've tried the honey mustard syrup before I poured it over my waffle. I was not a fan. It was good with the chicken but ruined my waffle. That's fine, as I knew it would be different, but I just regret not trying it first. Mybfriend got a pizza, and it was ginormous. She seemed to like it just fine. Our food came out in a respectable time, but long to us because we were already half-starved. Our server was just okay. She only checked on us once after the food came. My tea was good, but my friend got a bottled coke as her beverage. I guess there's no fountain drinks, which isn't a big deal, but that means no refills.
The atmosphere was really dark/dim for an early Sunday afternoon. It was really difficult to read the menu. But maybe I'm just getting old.
I will come back, so I can try the dinner menu, but I'm in no hurry.
Great tasting pizza with unique toppings. We got The White Pizza and Magical Mushroom Pizzas. Both were great!
I didn't expect to go here for lunch. It's true what they say about don't judge a book by its cover. The outside wasn't appealing and really didn't know it was a restaurant on the outside. But it was a nice pizza joint. The food was really good. Not the best mozzarella sticks but better than most. The pizza was really great. I loved the sauce and how the pepperoni was really big and the sausage was really thick. I got green peppers but they didn't put much on there for a $1.00.
My wife looked the Shrimp Scampi. The table was still sticky but it made up for the food, and service. The waitress was really nice also and delivered everything just right.
The atmosphere was really cool and unique. I loved it. They just need to work on the outside and they would be on point.
Amici’s has great food. I was delighted to find a gluten free pizza in Downtown Suffolk! I had the Fig and Prosciutto pizza with goat cheese and balsamic glaze. YUM! ???? My husband had the shrimp and grits and was happy with it. Good portions/ decent pricing. The service was great as well. Our server never let our beverages get below half a glass. Very attentive. Didn’t get her name but she was great. We will be back⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Manicotti w/ 1 meatball- Excellently seasoned. Cheesy and filling.
Cheese Sticks- Server accommodated my request to cook at the very end. Not the same triangle cheese sticks I remember, but good. (No photo)
14" Pepperoni and Pineapple pizza- ingredients evenly dispersed. (No photo)
Garden salad w/ ham and cheese - Veggies were fresh (although they were not cut in uniformity), and the ham was delicious. Not to mention the ranch..... man, oh man, that ranch is grand.
Plenty of parking. Check them out!
Had never heard of this place, but ended up here because another place downtown had no AC. Don’t worry, the AC here is nice and cold! Moscow mule and martini were stellar. Pizzas were cooked to perfection. The crust was not soggy at all and meat toppings were nice and crispy. Meatballs were also delicious!
We loved Amici’s. Had the Mediterranean pizza and the fig & prosciutto. Both were delicious. Especially the Mediterranean! We sat outside on the enclosed patio and the ambience was great. Service was attentive and friendly. Food arrived quick. Enjoyed our sparkling sweet red wine.
Update Oct 23: Came back later and prices for wine were outrageous! More than the pizza! Had a few glasses of wine and spent more on the wine than 2 pizzas, prob won’t be back :/
