Best WLM Reviews
We were on our way back to Chicago from Bloomington after the April 8, 2024 eclipse. We decided to pull off the highway in Lebanon in the vain hope that the insane traffic might ease. Discovered "Americana". Good food. Good service. Good beer. Family friendly. I had the blackened grilled bluegill "fish and chips". Fantastic. They were out of the fries, but the onion rings were great. Definitely better than the tater tots. Enjoy dining outdoor seating. Highly recommended.
So glad I found this place from a Google recommendation. This was our first time here but we will be going back soon. The food was incredible! I read in the other reviews that others think it's pricey but for what you get I don't agree. The tenderloin was huge, breaded perfectly, and the onion rings were so large and tasty. Churros made in house and so darn good. Our waitress Lauren was so attentive and fun, and even the owner Craig stopped by to ask us how everything was and to tell us that this restaurant has only been open for 4 months. I hope they do well! I think it's unexpectedly delicious! Definitely worth the stop!
The food was very good. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The service was good and very friendly.
This quaint spot is a must!! We were greeted with the most warm smiles when we walked in, and once we were seated the actual owner came to our table and shared history of the location, engaged my son and his interest in basketball, and to top it off the food was really good. The experience was so intentional that I had to review it as soon as I left. We are headed back to our home state, but we thank Americana for showing us the best of Indianapolis, food and people wise!! This is a location I would be honored to spend my money in, and refer 12x over!
The food was amazing! My husband had the tenderloin and I had the smash burger and the best onion rings ever! Their dipping sauce was really good too. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars for atmosphere really wasn't their fault, there was a group of cackling women behind us!
Food is good. Burger was great! Had the Roamer with the burger/bison mix. We will be back to try more items. Next time I will ask for my fries to be well done, they were a little limpy.
Everyone working at this place was very welcoming. Our waitress, Tamara, was great! The food was awesome, consistent and tasty. I had the chance to speak to the owner Craig, who was incredibly friendly and open with conversation.
I will most definitely visit this place again when I visit Indiana!
10/10 recommend.
????????
Attention to details! This was a quick stop as we were traveling. This is worth the travel time from the interstate. When we first pulled up it was early and we were one of the first cars in the lot. The place seemed small and we questioned going in. We did and we were welcomed right away and told to sit where we like. Service was prompt and friendly. Drink order was delivered and food order was put in. The owner of the place made sure we were happy with everything and gave us a history review on the place. Interesting. We could overhear the owner and waitresses talking to ensure all the new customers that were coming in were given the needed attention. Food was delivered and everything was fabulous. Once again the owner made sure we were happy with everything and also pointed all the items that were made in-house. Nice touch! Overall….i will make this a regular stop on my way to/from Ohio. I just have to give one piece of criticism…Coke Zero does not replace Diet Coke/Pepsi. No diet cola of any kind…only Coke Zero. Wife wasn’t thrilled with that, but I had the tea…pretty good. Great place!
