5:17 flight to DC (direct flight ????) Boarded, deplaned, waited, sent several updates to re-board x3 by AA. Very disappointing customer experience. Absolutely no offer for service recovery. Still on the plane 7:55 pm
I arrived today for my kids to travel. We had to wait for the person to reply with their address BUT I wrote the address down & the lady signing them in helped coworkers with the other people instead of getting them ready. When she finally came back to us she said well good luck making it through security now?! It was her fault. If the employees cannot handle or aren’t fully trained getting people checked in, don’t put them out there alone. We got through security for them to tell us they couldn’t go on the plane all because the lady helped everyone else’s line instead of us. She blamed the large flight. Very disappointed
On a girls’ trip to Cancun, we flew with American Airlines. On the trip there, only one of us lost their carryon bag that she was forced to check…it had all her shoes in it. She was told it would be sent to the resort. After we got home, she got a call from American Airlines asking her when she was going to pick it up…in Philadelphia!!
On the return trip home 4 of us were on a separate flight, but still American Airlines. 3 of 4 of them had their luggage lost…also at Philadelphia.
I will not use American again. Ever
Awful customer service. Rude employees. I had a trip to florida scheduled when a hurricane was forcasted to hit the area i was traveling to. I called AA they said no problem no fees just use by one year. It gets close to a year however covid is now ineffect, so i call to see if they have extended timeframes and was told yes. All is great, they even sent me an email with same info and no fees. Im ready to rebook and get $200 in change fees added. I call and the rep lucy is rude, cuts me off and isnt listening. I get transferred to a "supervisor" brandon who sounds more like a trainee and still says i have to pay. Looks like your people lie to customers to get them off the phone. Your service is awful!!!
Simply terrible. My flight yesterday was delayed so I would miss my connection so I paid for hotel. Today plane broke and heading back to terminal. Will not make connection. But I did happen to find the right person to get me alternate flights. Trip will take 14 hours but I still hope to get home today.

AVOID AA! Do not use American out of Evansville (ideally American in general) they have the worst on time performance out of Evansville by far - specifically to Chicago. WHEN they cancel your flight they will not be sympathetic, but another airline put out cots in Chicago. NEVER AGAIN.
Flight delayed, took forever to unload our suitcase an then get my suitcase back like this!! Brand new suitcase first time ever using it. Then instead just taking pictures we had to unpack our luggage an put it in a duffel bag so they could keep the suitcase to replace it! SMH who knows if we will even receive a new one!
